SkySentinel Removed! New PAX Logic and Map Upgrades Dear SimFlyers, This week, we’re introducing significant changes to SimFly. Thanks to your valuable feedback, we’ve decided to remove SkySentinel, a system that, while well-intentioned, caused frustrations for many pilots. In its place, we’re implementing a new PAX profit logic that makes the experience more flexible and balanced. Why was SkySentinel removed? SkySentinel required pilots to interact constantly with the simulator to prevent their missions from being canceled. This was particularly frustrating for those unable to remain in front of the simulator throughout their flights, especially on longer routes. This approach not only restricted pilots’ freedom but also penalized those who preferred longer flights, making the experience less enjoyable. New PAX Profit Logic: More Fairness, More Freedom With the new system, we’re rewarding your flight activity without the limitations of the past. Here’s how it works: No more mission cancellations: Flights will no longer be canceled if you’re not actively interacting with the simulator. You can now complete long or short routes without worrying about losing your progress. Rewards for activity: Pilots who complete more flights, even shorter ones, will earn more overall PAX. For example, six one-hour flights will earn more PAX than a single six-hour flight. This is because a higher number of flights reflects greater activity from the simmer in the simulator, unlike a single long flight that requires less direct interaction. Fairness for long flights: Pilots who prefer longer routes will still earn proportional rewards, without any restrictions or penalties. This logic applies to both pilot licenses and aircraft, ensuring a more balanced profit system for everyone. Regarding Airport Owners Once airports become activatable, the current logic will remain unchanged: longer flights will continue to generate higher profits. This ensures that airports hosting long-haul flights will continue to reap significant benefits. We believe this update strikes a fair balance between rewarding pilot activity and maintaining equitable incentives for airport owners. Improved Map Performance We’ve optimized the SimFly map for faster navigation and more responsive real-time aircraft data. This is just the first step in a series of planned updates to make your experience even smoother. Discover the Latest Features and Upcoming Updates! Welcome back to SimFly News! Thanks to your valuable feedback, we’ve confirmed that the aircraft activation system is working smoothly—an important milestone in our journey. If you’re not familiar with this new feature, we encourage you to watch Roberto’s video from last week. But that’s not all! Here’s a quick preview of what’s coming next: we’re working on activating airports and, afterward, developing the user marketplace. This exciting project will transform your experience by enabling the buying and selling of assets and PAX Tokens directly between SimFly users. Meanwhile, get ready for even more surprises soon, such as Milestone Flights and an exciting new mission, offering opportunities to earn extra PAX Tokens and exclusive rewards. Curious? Stay tuned for more details in next week’s update! In the meantime, here are some important details about aircraft usage. During the activation process, you’ll need to assign a unique tail number to each aircraft. This code is essential to identify, customize, and make your aircraft truly one of a kind. Remember, you can start flying your aircraft from the Unrestricted Flight mission onward (and in subsequent missions as they become available). You’ll also need a Pilot License, but it’s important to note that using your aircraft isn’t restricted by license timers: you can fly without limits and earn PAX Tokens based on your flight time. And don’t forget: each aircraft level upgrade reduces ground operation wait times and increases the percentage yield of PAX Tokens. All the technical details are available in our wiki. Community Questions We’ve received some great questions in our Ask Me Anything section. Topics include earning PAX Tokens through Test Pilot missions, the activation schedule for the fiat wallet, and managing asset activation. Watch Roberto’s video now, where he answers these questions in detail! SimFly – Take off and get more! https://lnkd.in/d7ht9DiV

Now Live: Airplane Activation! We’re excited to announce that all the updates scheduled for Thursday, November 14, 2024, are now live! With this release, the much-anticipated airplane activation feature is finally operational, allowing you to use your own aircraft in Unrestricted Flight Missions. Now you can earn PAX and XP not only through your Pilot License but also through your airplanes! After 6 hours of monitoring, we have confirmed that all systems are currently functioning perfectly. Starting tomorrow, November 15, 2024, PAX distribution will operate at full capacity, as limited PAX amounts were allocated today for initial functionality testing. Important: Due to a limitation with SimConnect, SimFly does not receive the ICAO code of the aircraft being used directly, but instead only the name of the associated livery. Since some liveries, unlike the default one, do not include the ICAO code in their name, you may encounter issues with SimFly recognizing your aircraft. In these cases, please follow the step-by-step guide on our Wiki to ensure your aircraft is correctly identified: https://lnkd.in/dcNkgyc3. In addition to airplane activation, this update includes numerous enhancements to make your SimFly experience even more immersive: Airplane Activation and Level Upgrade Aircraft Selection for Unrestricted Flight Missions New “Your Active Flight” section to view owned aircraft Detailed Flight Reports New transactions in the PAX Wallet Aircraft Parking Management Enhanced User Experience to resolve the “Pilot License Not Found” error Reminder: As previously announced, starting November 30, 2024, airplane prices will increase. This milestone brings us closer to a fully realistic and engaging SimFly experience, and we’re thrilled to have you with us on this journey. Please share your feedback, as it’s invaluable for our continuous improvements. Follow us on social media for real-time updates, and feel free to reach out to support with any questions. Thank you for being a part of the SimFly community. Let’s take off and experience the skies like never before! Happy flying, everyone! SimFly – Take off and get more!

The release will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, between 09:00 Z and 14:00 Z. During this time, you may experience brief interruptions in ongoing missions.
