Congratulations on Habitto's successful Series A fundraise! We've been a proud investor since Day 1 and it's amazing to see how far Samantha and her team have achieved so far. The participation from new investors QED Investors and Scrum Ventures as well as continuing support from DG Daiwa Ventures(DGDV) is a demonstration of Japan's robust Fintech ecosystem and investment opportunities. We look forward to seeing more exciting updates from Habitto and what they're building for the young Japanese consumers!
🚀 Big News! Habitto has raised US$11.7 million (JPY 1.8 billion) in our Series A round! Led by QED Investors and DG Daiwa Ventures(DGDV), this marks QED’s first investment in Japan, and we’re honored to have their global fintech expertise paired with DGDV’s deep local market knowledge. We’re also especially proud to have the continued backing of Anthemis Group, a global leader in fintech investment, who has shown unwavering support throughout our journey. Additional contributions came from Scrum Ventures and other existing shareholders, including Saison Capital, GMO VenturePartners,Inc., Cherubic Ventures, Kyokuto Securities Co Ltd, and Epic Angels. In a challenging fundraising climate, we’re grateful to have found exceptional partners who share our mission to reduce financial anxiety for young Japanese consumers. This funding will enable us to further scale Habitto, enhance our digital banking platform, and create financial tools that cater to the needs of our growing user base. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey—we’re just getting started!

Saison Capital is excited to partner up with BRI Ventures, D3 Labs and Tiger Research Inc. to publish the first-ever asset tokenization report in Indonesia The report forecasts significant growth in Indonesia’s tokenized asset sector, reaching US$88B in 2030, and that commodities could become the leading tokenized asset class for Southeast Asia’s largest economy. Indonesia is the world’s largest exporter of commodities including palm oil and coal and this, combined with growing technology penetration and the distinctive benefits of tokenization on the blockchain, make it an ideal category to originate tokens. 🚀 We’re excited about the $25.5M fundraise, but even more so about the vision it powers— building a future where every child in India with the ambition to study abroad has a clear path forward, no matter where they come from. 🔹 Here's what Zinc is building: - AI-powered education counselling (ada.inc) to guide families early on, making informed choices simpler and more accessible. - Smart investment solutions (zinc.money) that let parents save in foreign currencies, reducing the currency shocks when it’s time to pay tuition fees. - Seamless remittance services (www.zinc.money/pay) to simplify payments for everything from tuition to living expenses, all in one platform. - Future in-house lending options, bridging any last-mile funding gaps with affordable loan products designed for parents. 🙏 We are also privileged to have incredible backers. The entire teams at Nexus Venture Partners, Quona Capital, EDBI Pte Ltd, Global Ventures, and Saison Capital make incredible strategic partners and sparring partners. We've received some great coverage of the raise, including The Economic Times, moneycontrol.com, YourStory Media, Inc42 Media! https://lnkd.in/g3Tx4kPm https://lnkd.in/dyyUjeq8 https://lnkd.in/g_S_84VM https://lnkd.in/g-de6c48 Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this mission!
