It's a wrap for our Executive Forum on Mastering e-Invoicing Phase 2 held at W Hotel Kuala Lumpur today! The second half of the forum saw an incisive panel discussion which addressed the real-world challenges of e-invoicing system implementation in Malaysia and strategies to tackle them. The panel discussion was joined by IT and Finance leaders in Malaysia who had gone through the e-Invoicing transformation: Ts. The accountancy profession faces multiple challenges in technology--what with the concerns on how artificial intelligence poses threat on their jobs regarding the way it can take over their roles. Michele Manabat-Raval, manager for accounting & finance at Robert Walters Philippines, observes that organisations are realising the advantage in being agile and flexible to address the needs of talent while consistently maintaining upskilling opportunities across an inclusive workforce.
