Ever tried blending the seriousness of pharmaceuticals with the hip-swaying of Tahitian dance? Neither had I—until recently! I had the privilege of designing and facilitating a 2-day workshop in Taipei for senior leaders of the Ono "pharmily" (unapologetically proud of that pun). There was a lot to cover--the 2-day schedule was packed as a pillbox. We delved deep into connecting Inclusive Leadership with Ono's Vision, Mission, and Values, and put the finishing touches on their new Competency Framework for Medical Affairs. Then everyone brainstormed strategies and plans for communicating and launching their new Competency Framework. What came as a surprise, was how the team's boundless enthusiasm and commitment wasn't just confined to conference rooms and flip charts—it burst forth during a Tahitian dance energizer that had everyone moving like seasoned islanders! 😂 👏🏽 Who knew that senior executives could shake it better than a mixed cocktail? It was such a blast, we did it twice--they even asked for more challenging choreography! 😆😂 Working with such an engaged, open, fun, and spirited group was an absolute delight.
