Singapore built, Global scale. With a vision to reimagine financial services for #inclusion, we’ve focused on leveraging #technology and #innovation to break down financial accessibility barriers for MSMEs. We take immense pride in what we’ve achieved over the past two years in enabling these businesses to future-proof through more accessible, inclusive financial services. As we grow and scale, we’re excited and ready to serve the diverse global community of small and growing businesses. As our CEO Su Mei Toh shared in her recent interview with South China Morning Post SCMP “By deploying our strategy of #embeddedfinance, putting our financial services on regional and global platforms, unifying our financial services and breaking down borders, we make financial services a lot more accessible for regional and global MSMEs.” Anything worth doing is never easy. We’re doubling down on our efforts to simplify financial services and collaborate with regional and global partners, both private and public, to make financial services without borders a reality. #ANEXTBank #SFF2024 #FintechInnovation #Collaboration #Inclusion #BringingAboutWhatsNext #DigitalBanking #EmbeddedFinance

What an incredible week at the Singapore FinTech Festival! Ant International showcased the latest solutions at our booth, while our executives spoke on the future of digital payments and financial inclusion. In one of the key #SFF2024 sessions, our President Douglas Feagin discussed the vital role SMEs play in the global economy, the challenges they encounter, and how larger players can support them. Key takeaways from the panelists include: 1. SMEs still struggle with access to technology, credit, and customers. 2. In particular, many SMEs are unable to tap into opportunities in the global tourism market. Alipay+ is working with wallet partners and national QR codes to change this by enabling interoperability between SMEs and multiple digital payment methods used by travelers worldwide. 3. New technologies, like privacy-preserving computing, can help to democratize access to payment data and broaden SMEs’ financing opportunities. At Ant International, we recognize the importance of SMEs and are committed to supporting them. We will continue to innovate and leverage technology to help them overcome barriers, unlock new opportunities, and foster sustainable growth. Together, we can build a more inclusive and connected future for SMEs worldwide. #AntInternational #SingaporeFinTechFestival #digitalpayments #financialinclusion #SMEs

🌐 Transforming Payments for a Seamless Future 🌐 Gary Liu, General Manager of Antom, Ant International (second from left) took the stage at Singapore FinTech Festival to discuss how digital payments are powering business growth in today’s dynamic market. Key insights from his panel discussion: 1️⃣ The True Value of Payments: Digital payments are no longer just the final step in a transaction; they’re the gateway to deeper connections between merchants and consumers. By leveraging diverse local payment methods and digital tools, businesses can create seamless experiences that foster long-term consumer engagement and drive future transactions. 2️⃣ Revolutionizing Cross-Border Payments: Current cross-border payments are slow due to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screenings. By utilizing AI to streamline these processes, we can reduce fraud and accelerate transaction speeds. Blockchain will further enable secure, fast cross-border payments, fostering a trust-driven ecosystem. The future of payments goes beyond transactions—it’s about fueling growth through seamless, secure, and efficient solutions. 🚀 #DigitalPayments #Fintech #SFF2024 #AI #Blockchain #FutureOfPayments

It was a great experience coming back to the Singapore FinTech Festival 2024. Glad to see the great crowd at our booth. Thanks to our esteemed guests, partners and attendees for giving our team the chance to present to you our latest set of innovative solutions. I also had the opportunity to share the stage with Ari Sarker (Mastercard), Melissa Guzy (Arbor Ventures) and Tal Cohen (Nasdaq), to discuss the challenges and opportunities for our industry. I shared more about how Ant International is leveraging AI and blockchain to solve real issues impacting cross-border transactions. It was great to catch up with so many friends of the industry - each year at #SFF, we're reminded of the energy of the financial services industry and the strength in collaborations. I believe we can create even greater impact and innovation in the coming year. Alipay+ | Antom | WorldFirst | ANEXT Bank | bettr #SingaporeFintechFestival #innovation #AI #blockchain

Ant International and our partners discussed the rapid evolution of digital payments and how intra-regional trade and travel will impact consumers, businesses and economies at #SFF2024 yesterday. Our esteemed panelists Akihiko Sato (Deputy Division Head of Finance & Business Strategy, PayPay Corporation Japan), Douglas Feagin (President, Ant International), Dr Pipatpong Poshyanonda (President, KASIKORNBANK Thailand) and Zubin Rada Krishnan (CEO, BigPay Malaysia) shared that: 📌 Interoperability is absolutely crucial: Not too long ago, merchants could display 10 or more different QR code payments, which makes it more difficult for both consumers and merchants. 📌 Payments is just the start: Many consumers, particularly those in Asia, have become accustomed to digital lifestyles. Payment apps can offer many more in-app services to enrich their experience, both at home and abroad. 📌 Collaboration is key: Ant International believes in open collaboration, working across public and private partnerships. Regulator-led innovations combined with financial services firms' expertise and reach will help drive greater innovation and inclusion. 📌 Security is top of mind: With the rise of digital, comes the rise of fraud and deepfakes, making it more essential than ever to implement robust security measures. At #SFF2024, we're proud to spotlight some incredible small businesses. Each story showcases the positive impact of simplified, accessible financing. In less than six months since bettr Thailand's launch, we're encouraged by the momentum built with our local partner Asset World Corporation and the strong adoption among small businesses. This clearly demonstrates that we've addressed real pain points through technology and innovation, and collectively, we can scale financial inclusion. Beyond Thailand and Hong Kong (SAR), we're also on a fast track to expand into new markets with partners who share the same mission in simplifying financing for micro and small businesses. Visit us at the Singapore FinTech Festival from now till 8 November at Booth C201, Hall 2, Expo, to find out more about Ant International's digital lending entity and how our solutions foster sustainable growth and financial resilience for small businesses. #Inclusion #financing #AntInternational
