A co-founder and Managing Partner of Zero Stage Capital,
Baty worked for Draper Laboratory from 1962 – 1964. He then founded and became the Chief Executive Officer of Icon Corporation. He subsequently founded both Context Corporation and Wormser Engineering, Inc.
He has worked with Mercury Computer Systems, Novitron International, Cognex Corporation, and Ibis Technology.
Baty earned three degrees from MIT: an S.B. and an S.M. in Industrial Management and a Ph.D. in Finance. For several years he taught entrepreneurial management at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He is a founder of the MIT Enterprise Forum.
