In 2001, Ari Takanen was a founder of Codenomicon and served as their Chief Research Officer until being acquired by Synopsys in 2015. He was the CEO from inception until 2005 and then held the CTO title until 2014.
Prior to Codenomicon, Takanen was a researcher at the University of Oulu.
