eASIC is a fabless semiconductor company offering devices that they claim reduce the overall cost of ownership and time to production of customized silicon devices. They achieve this by employing a combination of FPGA like logic (look up tables) and a single via for routing. Feb 19th 2015 – Announced that it has publicly filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not been determined. eASIC intends to apply to list its common stock on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol ‘EASI’.
