Businesses Embrace Refurbished Devices: Alchemy survey revealed that 58% of businesses globally are considering purchasing refurbished devices in the next two years, reflecting a shift in procurement strategies towards sustainability. 3. Economic and Environmental Benefits: Opting for refurbished tech can lead to significant cost savings, up to 70% for smartphones and 50% for laptops, while also reducing CO2 emissions, particularly important for companies with large Scope 3 emissions. 4. Significance of ESG Policies: While 83% of businesses have Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) policies, smaller businesses lag in adoption, with only 46% having such policies. There's a need for greater integration of the device tech estate impact within ESG policies. 5. Role of Resellers and Manufacturers: Resellers play a crucial role in encouraging device recycling and adoption of refurbished tech. Manufacturers are increasingly investing in sustainable practices like remanufacturing and building products with recycled materials, contributing to a circular economy.

There's so much going on in and around the Sisvel Cellular IoT patent pool right now. Just days after announcing a major licensing agreement with Nordic Semiconductor, today we are unveiling new, lower rates for many segments of the programme, covering both NB-IoT and LTE-M. The thing about building and managing world class pools is that it is a continuous process involving interaction not only with rights owners but also implementers of their technologies.
