It also facilitates global collaboration, cost efficiency, and supports clinical innovation, particularly in areas such as personalized medicine and real-world evidence generation. Here are 5 concrete examples how OMOP CDM provides value to HealthTech companies: 1) Data Integration: The OMOP CDM provides a unified structure for healthcare data from diverse sources (e.g., electronic health records (EHRs), claims data, registries). 2873 healthcare professionals have spoken: their telemedicine software must be more user-friendly! 📣 This spring, we conducted a survey among Swedish healthcare professionals, asking them about the telemedicine software they use in their daily work. When rating the user experience of the systems they have used, the average score was 5.6 out of 10. 🙁 This rating indicates there is still much work to be done in the healthcare sector. Software companies must place greater emphasis on the end-users, and a significant responsibility also falls on decision-makers to prioritize user experience when evaluating telemedicine systems for their organizations.
