On the 4th of December, the PITCH consortium met in Brussels for the last transnational partner meeting! This occasion gave the partners the opportunity to discuss and share challenges, but also positive impact of the project in the different EU countries. The focus was on sharing progress and insights on the dissemination activities held in each country, which include: a local panel discussion with local stakeholders and migrant women, national webinars to promote the PITCH model, a local neighbourhood event to celebrate the project in the local communities, and the implementation of a capacity-building program for relevant stakeholders. All of these activities were arranged and organized differently in each national context according to the local needs of stakeholders, with the goal of raising awareness on the importance of mainstreaming the PITCH model and building capacity for other organizations to ensure long-term sustainability. It was a fruitful and inspiring meeting, so thank you to all the people involved!  “PITCH is an EU project co-financed by the European Union's Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). PITCH aims to create a common European basis to support the design and implementation of local integration strategies for women with a migrant background. Last Thursday, we held a workshop on circularity and entrepreneurship in the bioeconomy with volunteers from Alnarp's Agroecology Farm. Last month we launched our new project: ECOPath. The project is rooted in the necessity for building pathways that allow European enterprises to become more sustainable which has become a priority under the EU Green Deal. Central to this undertaking are Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks and Circular Economy. The ECOPath project highlights the potential of Circular Economy in the implementation of ESG principles and strategies, and equips staff of SMEs to improve their companies' environmental impact through circular practices. 🌿 We are excited to begin this new journey together with our partners from Croatia, Germany, Ireland, Spain, and Sweden!   -- swideas.se   ECOPath seeks to build pathways for European entreprises to become more sustainable. ✨ Tack för ett inspirerande panelsamtal om utrikesfödda kvinnors delaktighet i Malmö!✨ Den 13 november samlades vi på Föreningscenter Nobel 21 för ett engagerande panelsamtal om de utmaningar och möjligheter som utrikesfödda kvinnor möter i sin socioekonomiska integration. Panelen, med representanter från ReDI School of Digital Integration Malmö , Arbetsförmedlingen, Länsstyrelsen Skåne, Sensus studieförbund, Socialdemokraterna Malmö och deltagare från PITCH-projektet, belyste både de systemglapp och hinder som kvinnor ofta stöter på, samt innovativa lösningar för att främja deras väg till arbete, utbildning och social integration. Tack vare en engagerad publik och insiktsfulla paneldeltagare blev det en dag fylld av lärande, dialog och framåtblickande idéer! 🌍💡 Ett varmt tack riktas till våra kunniga paneldeltagare för att ni delade era erfarenheter och idéer, till publiken vars frågor och reflektioner berikade diskussionen, och till Sensus studieförbund för ert samarbete och stöd i att arrangera detta event 🙏 . 🌿 Exploring Innovation at NSR AB! 🌟 Last Thursday, we had the privilege of visiting Norra Skånes Renhållnings AB (NSR AB) in Helsingborg, to learn more about how they collect the region's residual materials and refine them into valuable resources - the bioeconomy in action! The highlight of our visit was Reco Park—a competence center that’s shaping the future with a testbed for groundbreaking technologies. One exciting area of focus is Biochar—a sustainable product made from garden waste branches. This versatile material can be used in agriculture, from enriching soil health 🌾 and supporting animal well-being 🐄 to acting as a carbon sink, helping reduce CO2 emissions. This study visit was organized as part of the Relief project on the Bioeconomy in Agriculture. Last week, we visited ReadLab in Athens for a three-day Erasmus+ Mobility job shadowing. ✨ We had the pleasure to meet the ReadLab Team who introduced us to some of their projects and their work practices. A particular focus during this was ReadLab's work with e-learning tools. ✨ The job shadowing was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences, and to discuss potential future collaborations.
