Gene editing, precision medicine, bi-specific antibodies, longevity research and many other areas offer previously unheard-of opportunities, but create also new challenges for regulators.    The environment for sector companies and healthcare providers is challenging. Sustainable practices in research, development, and manufacturing are gaining importance. Geopolitical tensions cause disruptions in supply chains and talent movements. Large pharma seeks innovative technologies and therapies, which can give rise to an M&A boom and make the environment even more competitive. The article was based on seven months of interviews with more than 50 top executives from countries such as Poland, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, and Sweden. These meetings allowed me to hear a variety of perspectives on the onset of the recession in the markets, particularly the IT and high-tech crisis, and to understand the situation in their organizations. Based on these conversations and the data collected, this material was created.
