This year at the Argus Fertilizer Europe Conference in #Athens, NitroCapt’s CEO, Gustaf Forsberg, shared our innovative green nitrogen fertilizer technology through a presentation during the sustainability and decarbonization forum. The event was filled with energy and forward-thinking discussions. Alongside the optimism, there was also thoughtful consideration of the upcoming EU carbon taxation and its potential implications for the European fertilizer industry in regards to production capacity and costs. The deployment of NitroCapt’s solution will coincide with the phase-out of EU #ETS free allowances. NitroCapt’s technology promises to increase the availability of sustainable, cost-effective nitrogen fertilizer, in Europe and across the globe, offering a strong alternative to fossil-gas-based fertilizers. As we continue to develop and refine our technology, we are proud to contribute to the green transition within the agricultural sector, and we’re excited about the road ahead.    

We had the opportunity to be invited by the Swedish Board of Agriculture (Jordbruksverket) to participate in Elmia Lantbruk, Sweden’s agricultural fair. It was valuable to be part of the #EIP-AGRI booth, showcasing projects supported by its innovation grants. Our business developer, Adjani Isabelle, presented on the challenges and opportunities related to SUNIFIX®, our low-carbon nitrogen fertilizer production technology. The presentation addressed its potential to meet both local #sustainability goals in Sweden and broader global needs in agriculture. This deal, worth 10 million SEK, marks a key milestone for us in the development of our SUNIFER® green nitrogen fertilizer. 💬 "We aim to enhance our sustainable offering with fertilizers that have low greenhouse gas emissions and also promote good agronomy.
