Recent data indicates that electricity prices in Sweden have reached up to 815,91 öre per kWh during peak hours, marking a significant increase from previous months. In response to these challenges, we feel that we once again should bump our "Vad kostar elen?" demo app: https://lnkd.in/dheVWNG2 The app was originally developed two years ago during a similar energy crisis but is now updated with the current tax metrics. This tool empowers users to simulate their electricity expenses by inputting various parameters such as: ⚡ Monthly electricity consumption (kWh) ⚡ Electricity network subscription monthly fee ⚡ Variable electricity prices (e.g., 310 öre/kWh). ⚡ VAT rates and other specific costs. This provides a comprehensive breakdown of costs and the app also enables comparisons between two electricity providers. The app also accounts for monthly variations, offering insights into both specific months and annual projections. Built using Google Sheets and transformed into a web application through Molnify, this app exemplifies how complex models can be made accessible without extensive programming knowledge. Today, we had a great meeting with Hans and Leo from Swedish Megger. Hans shared Megger’s impressive 130-year history and their dedication to precision, reliability, and safety in electrical testing. We explored how Molnify could support them, particularly with a potential app for order and offer creation, streamlining their process even further. Now, we’re excited to create a demo app for Megger and show how easily their Excel models can be transformed into fully functional web apps. Enhancing SQL Functionality in Molnify In today’s scrum meeting, Erik presented the progress on a new SQL feature that will give our users even more control over their data. Molnify already supports SQL functionality, allowing you to save and query data from tables using features like addrecord and autofill — and we’ve had this capability for quite some time. The upcoming update will make it even easier to: ⭐️Create and manage database tables. ⭐️Set variables and indexes. ⭐️Build queries through a visual query builder or by writing custom SQL. This new interface will further streamline how customers work with SQL in Molnify, offering more flexibility and control.
