With more and more people in Sweden struggling with debt and facing financial hardship, something we at Anyfin witness daily and as seen on the TV show Lyxfällan, our CEO and co-founder Mikael Hussain teamed up with Magdalena Kowalczyk to bring the idea to life. Now, we proudly celebrate the book’s 1st anniversary 🎉   The Book Your Money Wants You to Read – everything you were never taught, but absolutely need to know to avoid ending up on Lyxfällan. Since its launch, the book has:   📖 Sold over 3,500 physical copies.   🤓 Been distributed to budget and debt advisors nationwide.   🧑🏫 Found its way into libraries, bookstores, and schools (thanks to the incredible teachers and principals who go above and beyond for their students 🥹). Magdalena has been touring the country, receiving glowing feedback on how accessible and easy-to-read the book is, despite the difficult topic and the stigma that often surrounds it. A huge thank you to Magdalena and Mikael for tackling this important issue, to Mondial Publishing for recognizing the need for this book, and to Famous Last Words™ for the stunning design and illustrations. And we think that's healthy – there are plenty of reasons not to trust companies that offer loans. 💸 So we don’t think it is very surprising that some are a bit skeptical towards us. That's why we try to do things differently. Like really helping our customers save money. But sometimes things can also go wrong or be misunderstood. And we believe it's important to talk about that too (and learn from our mistakes). So we asked ourselves: Can we turn negative things – articles, comments, threads in forums – into good content?
