Alumni Advisory Council

The Faculty of Science Alumni Advisory Council’s primary role is to advise on alumni initiatives and services in the faculty so that a positive relationship can be fostered and maintained between the alumni community, the faculty and the university.

The Faculty of Science has over 25,000 alumni champions around the world, who leverage the knowledge and skills they gained at UCalgary to make a positive impact in their community. The volunteer members of the alumni advisory council aim to foster a positive relationship between the alumni community, the faculty, and the university. They also act as ambassadors of the faculty, partner with the faculty on alumni outreach initiatives, and provide advice and counsel to the dean and alumni engagement staff in the Office of Advancement.

The members are appointed to their positions by the dean and council chair. Should you be interested in volunteering as a member, please contact [email protected].
