We’d love for you to come and enjoy lakefront living in our home in Angel Fire, New Mexico! ‘Ayres Lakeside Retreat’ is a reflection of what you’d picture a mountain home to be – huge outdoor decks, cozy interior with a mountain home feel, and features ideal for creating family memories, like making s’mores in our outdoor firepit, refreshing your tired muscles in our hot tub and walking out your back door to the lake and getting some exercise walking the 1 mile trail around the lake.

Here are some highlights of the property itself that we know you’ll appreciate.
**It sleeps up to 15, which is ideal for 2-4 families.
It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a loft.
**We provide the backdrop for creating great family memories in your mountain getaway away from the big city, such as huge panorama decks and swings where you can have coffee or happy hour and watch the wildlife and take in the view, an outdoor firepit to gather around while making s’mores and telling stories, a hot tub to relax in all while taking in the view, and direct access to the lake and the trail around it and its many summer activities like fishing, canoeing, rock climbing wall and paddle boats.
**The house is fully stocked for you with everything you’ll need for your stay – linens and towels, hair dryers, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher, shampoo & body wash, kitchen soap, paper towels, napkins, spices and olive oil.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need – even if you’re cooking Thanksgiving dinner! All you need to buy is the food!

BEDROOMS/SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
The top floor has a full bathroom with shower and tub and sleeps 9 in a bedroom with a queen and 5 twin beds and a loft with a queen-sized pull-out sofa.
The main floor has a master bedroom with a queen bed, another bedroom with a queen and 2 twin beds (a bunk set) and 2 full bathrooms (one with shower and tub and the other with shower).
Bedrooms and bathrooms are fully stocked with pillows, linens/blankets, towels, shampoo and body wash, and hand soap.
LIVING AREAS:
The living room is a cozy gathering spot for your family set up around the giant wood-burning fireplace where you can reminisce about your day in front of the crackling fire.
The living room is part of a great room area, an open plan that connects the living room with the kitchen and dining room – plenty of space to spread out yet still be together.
Or hang out on the deck or on the swing in the yard or by the firepit and enjoy the view of the lake and mountains.
KITCHEN/DINING
Creating and eating meals together is another way to create great family memories and the Ayres Lakeside Retreat provides everything you need.
Our kitchen features appliances to prepare meals, coffee maker, blender, crockpot… All plates, glassware, baking/cookware, pots, pans, utensils are all provided.
In addition, we have a cabinet full with olive oil, flour, sugar, and spices to get you started.
And on the covered porch is a gas grill.
For dining seating, we have options at the dining room table that seats 8-9 and barstools at the kitchen counter that seats 3.
ENTERTAINMENT INDOORS:
We aim to provide the ingredients for everyone to have fun and be entertained while inside Ayres Lakeside Retreat.
Two TVs for your enjoyment await you, one in the living room and one in the loft.
Enjoy a family movie night on our DVD blu-ray player.
ENTERTAINMENT OUTDOORS:
Outside at Ayres Lakeside Retreat, we aim to provide the ideal setting for fun family memories.
This home has a huge deck where you can enjoy coffee or cocktails while taking in the view and all of the benefits of staying on a lakefront property with your family.
Swing with your sweetie on the back yard swing while absorbing the peaceful nature of the view of the lake and mountains.
Let the kids delight in making s’mores around our firepit in the back yard.
Soothe your tired muscles in our hot tub on the back deck.
Picture yourself living lakefront in the summer - walk out the door at Ayres Lakeside Retreat and hike the trail around the lake, or go fishing with your children and grandchildren.
Walk around the lake to the activities at Monte Verde Lake – rent a paddle boat or canoe or watch the kids enjoy the rock climbing wall or trampoline.

We have a full washer and dryer in the house for your use and we provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets for your convenience.
