We implement ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software for local distributors, manufacturers and other businesses.
We are looking for someone with a good accounting background to help us with ERP implementation in the future.
The core of an ERP is accounting, so we need someone with accounting expertise who would like to learn the brand of ERP we implement for our customers called Odoo (odoo.
com).
You can think of ERP/Odoo as a super-powered version of QuickBooks, with standard double-entry bookkeeping and powerful inventory and manufacturing functions.
The number of hours will be small to start, and grow over time.
The immediate need for us right now is to just set up the company books of Acero itself using Odoo.
In the process you will learn how to use Odoo.
After this initial phase, you will begin to work on client projects in the local area, who are mostly distribution and manufacturing companies.
You will be helping with these companies' accounting setup.
As a result, it's highly desirable you have experience with the operations of a distribution/manfacturing company, and have experience with other ERPs before.
Ultimately, we would like you to work as a functional ERP consultant responsible for more and more of the implementation project that goes beyond just accounting.
However, that is an option you can decide if you want to take.
If all goes well, this may eventually become a permanent position.
For right now, you just need to be able to work with flexible schedule, and be available on some days during the days to work with me personally or with clients on-site.
