Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Review financial statements and other relevant documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist clients with tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional client service
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of securities law, financial statement preparation, and financial auditing
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Quicken, and other relevant tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
