For rent is a single occupancy private room in a coliving house in Salt Lake City.
We are a diverse group of folks ranging in age from 22 to 50.
Majority of people here are queer/trans, few are cishet.

The room for rent is on the main floor just off of the living room and across from the main bathrooms.
There is a large window facing north.
The room is 9’7” x 9’7” and has a small closet.
There are two built-in shelves for additional storage.

We are 8 minutes to downtown, 8 minutes to the airport and within walking distance of the Jordan River Parkway Trail and the surplus canal.
The house is half a mile away from the nearest bus stop, 1.

1 miles to Walmart and 2 miles from Costco.

These include premium bamboo toilet paper, organic castile body and hand soap, cleaners and dish soap.
Food household good and other basic amenities, combined with 2G Google Fiber internet, gas and electricity cost an additional $150/mo.

We adhere to a Leave No Trace ethic for our common spaces and we have scheduled nightly kitchen chores on a rotation.
That’s one of the great part of living with many.
You get a deep cleaned kitchen daily, and you’ve only got to do it less than a week or so yourself.
If you like living in a clean space with structured house chores, you’ve found the right place.
Along with the nightly kitchen cleaning we clean the bathrooms and the fridge weekly.
Once a month we all chip in for a focused house cleaning in specific chosen areas.
There’s plenty of land to work if you’d like to start your own garden.
We have quiet hours between 10p-8a on weekdays and 11p-9a on weekends.

There is no obligation outside of our monthly cleaning to do gardening or yard work.
House is cannabis friendly.
Not into a ton of drinking or harder drugs.
Our household watches shows and movies together on the big living room projector off and on, and is mostly a quiet space to be in during the day and more lively in the evenings around dinner time.
// PETS //
Currently there are 3 cats and 1 small dog that live at the house.
Pets are considered on a case by case basis and cost an extra $50/mo.
Pets require a one time fully refundable deposit of $300.
As we currently have many pets, it’s unlikely that we will allow more pets, but please do apply if you feel this space is a very good fit for you.

Deposit is $700.
$550 of which is refundable.
// MOVE-IN PAYMENTS //
Room is $550/mo.
, dues are $150/mo.
which cover everything else.
This is represented as a combined sum of $700/mo.

Before move-in your first and last month’s rent as well as your deposit will be owed: $2100.
I prefer this to be paid in one payment, but if it is too financially straining, I offer installments with a small interest payment spread out to up to 6 months.
