Description:
The Appraisal Assistant requires a self-motivated, organized, and driven individual who will support the Client Manager.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include engaging appraisal jobs or other valuation services, monitoring client/appraiser needs during the job process, and finalizing appraisal reports and delivering them to the clients; along with communicating with Appraisers, corporate operations, and clients; as well as possibly assistant on other projects as needed by Client Managers.
Day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Production of appraisal reports, including formatting, proofreading for spelling and grammar errors, creating maps and other addenda items as needed, and many other tasks associated with the assignments for production needs.
Assisting with the creation of exhibits and other materials needed for litigation support.
Read and interpret written materials for database entry, and the composition of emails.
Assist the directors in the setup of proposal/engagement letters and other administrative matters as assigned.
Track and renew all subscriptions needed for valuation services.
Maintain accurate records of licenses, qualifications, and other documentation, per regulations, with direction from the corporate office.
Maintain appraisers’ work schedule, as well as book travel as needed for inspections or conferences.
Respond promptly and professionally to email and phone requests for assistance from staff, clients, and vendors.
Requirements:
Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
Bachelor's degree with experience in commercial real estate or litigation support preferred.
