Whitney Barrell Counseling is seeking a part- time to full time (15-25 client hours per week), provisionally licensed (CSW, CMHC, AMFT, PLPC) therapist to join our team.
Whitney Barrell Counseling is a small boutique group practice located in the heart of Sugar House.
Whitney began as a solo practitioner in 2013 and WBC’s reputation grew as a clinic focused on treating clients and families from an attachment and interpersonal neurobiology framework.
Slowly we’ve added handpicked clinicians whose values align and are also committed to providing superior care to our community.

Qualifications:
* Ability to work as a team, strong and direct communication skills.
* Master’s Degree in counseling or social work
* _*Desire and experience working with children /youth ages 3-18 highly preferred.

* Previous trainings or certifications in play therapy, family systems, EMDR, trauma, and attachment a plus.
* Required to work effectively with diverse populations including LGBTQ/marginalized groups.
* Ability to work and problem solve independently.
* Responsive to client needs and ability to return phone calls/emails promptly.
* Ability to complete documentation timely (clinical notes and treatment plans).
* Unrestricted license in Utah.
* Evening and/or weekend sessions required one to two days per week.
* Pass background screening.
* Minimum of 15 client hours per week.
