Following our recent campaign at ENDPK, we continued our mission to inspire future pharmacists by engaging with S6 students at College du Christ-Roi de Nyanza. The interactive session focused on the opportunities within the #PharmacyProfession, the skills required, and the impact pharmacists make in healthcare. The students' enthusiasm and curiosity were truly motivating, with many expressing a strong interest in pursuing pharmacy as a career. We are excited to note that the school has requested to host this campaign annually, further strengthening our commitment to guiding students towards informed career decisions. #RPSAInAction #PharmacyAwareness #InspiringtheFuture IPSF African Regional Office (IPSF AfRO)

RPSA successfully conducted a research workshop today, in collaboration with GlobeMed and MEDSAR Rwanda, under the theme: "Research Beyond Academic Exercise: The Art of Evidence Dissemination." The workshop emphasized key strategies for undergraduate students to engage in research and build their capacity. Participants were encouraged to take part in research projects and internships, pursue research-oriented courses, collaborate, and network to develop essential technical skills. The importance of publishing and presenting research was also highlighted. In addition, we discussed the basic pillars of research, providing students with the necessary tools to start their own research journey and contribute to meaningful discoveries. We thank our incredible speakers, Dr. Victor Archibong (PhD) and Phn. Yusuff Adebayo Adebisi, for their inspiring sessions, and everyone who joined and contributed to the success of this workshop. Research is a key to new discoveries; let's start now to shape a better future. 🌱 #RPSAting #ResearchInnovation #EvidenceDissemination University of Rwanda Africa Quantitative Sciences Rwanda Biomedical Centre Partners In Health IPSF African Regional Office (IPSF AfRO)

Yesterday, #RPSA through the office of Vice-President led by Maurice Ishimwe, has successfully conducted Pharmacy Profession Awareness Campaign at Ecole Notre Dame de la Providence Karubanda (ENDPK). We engaged and educated S3 and S6 students on the #PharmacyProfession and inspired them to make informed decisions about their future. The session was highly interactive with engaging discussions between our delegates and the students. The students gained valuable insights into the pharmacy profession, including the qualifications and dedication it requires to pursue a career in this field. This campaign also provided an excellent opportunity to introduce #RPSA, setting the foundation for future collaboration with the school in the upcoming activities. #RPSAInAction #PharmacyProfession #CareerAwareness IPSF African Regional Office (IPSF AfRO)

🎗️ World AIDS Day 2024 🎗️ Today, #RPSA joins the world in commemorating World AIDS Day 2024 under the theme: "Taking the Rights Path: My Health, My Priority." #HIV, the virus that causes #AIDS, weakens the immune system, leaving the body vulnerable to opportunistic infections like tuberculosis (#TB) and #fungal or #bacterial infections. This day is a reminder to spread awareness about #prevention, #treatment, and #care, while celebrating progress in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Pharmacists play a critical role in combating HIV/AIDS through education, medication management, and support.
