Da se „Pupinova“ zastava vijori i na Krfu pobrinule su se kolege iz IMP – Automatika koje su prošlog vikenda posetile sunčanu Grčku i prelepo ostrvo sa bogatom istorijom. Više od 30 zaposlenih sa svojim porodicama krenulo je iz Beograda na produženi vikend, kako bi već dobre kolegijalne odnose učinili još boljim i lepšim ali u drugačijem ambijentu i sredini. Putovanje je pažljivo planirano, organizovano i najavljeno na vreme kako bi sve kolege mogle da usklade privatne obaveze i rad na projektima na kojima su angažovani ni poslu. Predrag Djesnic, iz kompanije IMP-Automatika kaže da na poslu , ali i u organizaciji ovakvih putovanja, uvek mogu da računaju na podršku neposrednog rukovodioca. „Obišli smo Srpsku kuću, staru tvrđavu i ostrvo Vido. Pored toga, imali smo vremena da ispijemo koju kafu, pojedemo odličan giros i da se zasladimo sladoledom iz tradicionalne lokalne poslastičarnice“, kaže Peđa. Blizina mora, lepo vreme i boravak u prirodi najviše je prijao najmlađim članovima, ali ni ostatak ekipe nije ostao imun na prirodne lepote Grčke. Pod parolom ’svi za jednog – jedan za sve’ ni kolegama čija deca imaju po pet ili osam meseci nije bilo teško da se upuste u ovu avanturu. „Mi sa decom i bebama smo imali uglavnom prednost i pravo prolaska gde god su bili redovi, bilo je i razumevanja od strane kolega i domaćina. Najinteresantnija je bila vožnja brodom do ostrva Vido, sam boravak na ostrvu i druženje sa porodicom i kolegama", dodaje Peđa. --- Thanks to the colleagues from IMP-Automatika, the “Pupin” flag flew proudly on Corfu as they visited sunny Greece and this historic island over the weekend. More than 30 employees, along with their families, set off from Belgrade for an extended weekend trip, strengthening their already solid camaraderie in a new and inspiring setting. The trip was carefully planned, organized, and announced in advance to allow colleagues to coordinate personal obligations and work on their assigned projects. Predrag Djesnic, from the company IMP-Automatika, mentioned that both at work and when organizing such trips, they can always count on the support of their direct supervisors. “We visited the Serbian House, the old fortress, and the island of Vido. We also found time to enjoy a few coffees, try some excellent gyros, and treat ourselves to ice cream from a traditional local pastry shop,” Peđa shared. The proximity to the sea, great weather, and time in nature were especially enjoyable for the youngest family members, but everyone appreciated Greece's natural beauty. Under the motto “all for one, one for all,” even colleagues with infants as young as five or eight months embraced the adventure. “For those of us with children and babies, we mostly had priority access where there were queues, with support and understanding from colleagues and hosts. The highlight was the boat ride to Vido Island, exploring the island itself, and spending time with family and colleagues”, Peđa concluded.

Sporazum o poslovno – tehničkoj saradnji između Institute Mihajlo Pupin i Ministarstva poljoprivrede, šumarstva i vodoprivrede potpisali su juče u Institutu ministar dr Aleksandar Martinović i direktor Instituta dr Nikola Tomasevic.  „Ministarstvo je u Institutu „Mihajlo Pupin“ prepoznalo partnera za stvaranje softverskog rešenja u vidu savremene moderne aplikacije, koja će omogućiti bržu obradu zahteva, te bržu isplatu poljoprivrednim proizvođačima usled izmena Zakona o podsticijama u poljoprivredi. Ministarstvu i Institutu predstoji još zajedničkih poslova na različitim projektima analize, planiranja i implementacije modernih informacionih sistema“, rekao je ministar. Direktor Instituta „Mihajlo Pupin“ dr Nikola Tomašević naveo je da Institut dugi niz godina radi na projektima od nacionalnog značaja koji uključuju informacione sisteme, upravljačke sisteme, pa i oblast vodosnabdevanja, pametne poljoprivrede i mnogih drugih. „Sporazum je od velikog značaja za Institut i na njega gledamo kao na okvir za dalju saradnju. Sporazumom je predviđena saradnja po pitanju naprednih informacionih sistema, kako za potrebe Ministarstva tako i za potrebe drugih javnih sistema koja su pod njegovim okriljem. U narednom periodu ćemo definisati listu prioritetnih projekata za realizaciju, po prioritetima koji su u skladu sa strateškim ciljevima RS, posebno u oblasti evropskih integracija“, naglasio je dr Tomašević. Nakon zvaničnog dela, održan je sastanak na kome su osim potpisnika Sporazuma prisustvovali i šef Kabineta ministra poljoprivrede i pomoćnik ministra Anja Javor i sekretar Ministarstva Stanija Višekruna, kao i pomoćnik direktora IMP-a za međunarodnu saradnju i transfer tehnologije dr Marko Batić i direktor IMP-Automatika Bojan Papic.  --- Minister Dr. Aleksandar Martinović and Director Dr. Nikola Tomašević signed an agreement for business and technical cooperation at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin. "The Ministry has recognized the Mihajlo Pupin Institute as a partner in developing a modern application that will accelerate request processing and faster payments to agricultural producers, aligned with changes to the Law on Agricultural Incentives. There are more collaborative projects ahead in the analysis, planning, and implementation of modern information systems," stated Minister Martinović. Dr. Nikola Tomašević emphasized the Institute's longstanding role in national projects involving information and management systems, as well as water supply, smart agriculture, and more. "This agreement represents an important framework for ongoing cooperation on advanced information systems, for the Ministry and other public systems under its jurisdiction. We will prioritize projects aligned with Serbia's strategic goals, particularly in European integration," he noted. У Костолцу је за викенд одржан 8. Костолачки полумаратон, а на “Трци Виминацијум” на 10км наш Лука Милекић освојио је прво место. Лука је запослен у фирми ИМП – Рачунарски системи, ради на пројектима ЈП Путева Србије и ЈП Аутоцесте ФБИХ и дефинитивно је најбржи човек у Институту “Михајло Пупин”. "Трка је била захтевна, стаза валовита, али сам знао шта ме очекује јер сам учествовао и прошле године, само на 21км. Ове године сам се више посветио краћим стазама и остваривању бољих времена на истим, јер ми више пријају. Можда се и то промени догодине. Главни циљ је био да завршим трку испод 40 минута, али сам остварио и више од тога, много више. Осећај је невероватан, поготово што сам први пут завршио као победник на трци и то са новим личним рекордом на 10км", истиче Лука. Честитке Луки, али и колеги Aleksandar Tomić, који је на истој трци заузео високо шесто место!  --- This weekend, the 8th Kostolac Half Marathon took place, where our Luka Milekić raced to victory, securing first place in the 10km “Viminacium Race”! Luka works with IMP – Computer Systems, bringing expertise and commitment to projects across the organization, and he’s officially the fastest man at the Mihajlo Pupin Institute. "The race was challenging, with a hilly course, but I knew what to expect, as I participated in the 21km run last year. This year, I focused more on shorter distances and achieving better times, which suit me more. That could change next year. My main goal was to finish the race in under 40 minutes, but I achieved even more—much more. The feeling was incredible, especially since this was my first time finishing as a race winner and with a new personal record on the 10km", Luka said. Na Institutu „Mihajlo Pupin“ će u četvrtak 31. oktobra od 14 časova biti održano predavanje na temu Novel 5-Level E-Type Power Converter for Low Voltage Power Quality Applications. Predavanje predstavlja deo doktorske teze dr Zorana Miletića, višeg naučnog istraživača na Austrijskom institutu za tehnologiju u Beču, koji je doktorirao na Fakultetu inženjerskih nauka Univerziteta u Insbruku. Dr Miletić je svoju profesionalnu karijeru započeo u Institutu „Mihajlo Pupin“, kao razvojni inženjer. Nakon toga se više od dve decenije bavio razvojem energetskih pretvarača u kompanijama Xantrex Technology Inc. u Kanadi, i Schneider Electric Solar u Evropi i Kanadi. U AIT-u (Austrijski institut za tehnologiju) radi od 2014. godine.  U prezentaciji će biti prikazano istraživanje primene trofaznih energetskih pretvarača baziranih na najnovijim višenivojskim topologijama za korekciju faktora snage, time i poboljšavanje kvaliteta električne energije u niskonaponskim mrežama. Osim toga, prezentacija će pružiti uvide o tome kako višenivojska konverzija može značajno poboljšati volumetrijsku i gravimetrijsku gustinu snage, kao i postići izuzetno visoku efikasnost u energetskim pretvaračima. Učesnici će imati priliku da čuju rezultate najnovijih  istraživanja, da podele svoja iskustva i postave pitanja. Zainteresovani mogu da se prijave putem mejl adrese [email protected] do srede, 30. oktobra.  --- On Thursday, October 31, at 2 PM, the Mihajlo Pupin Institute will host a lecture on the topic Novel 5-Level E-Type Power Converter for Low Voltage Power Quality Applications. This lecture is part of the doctoral thesis of Dr. Zoran Miletić, a senior scientific researcher at the Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna, who completed his Ph.D. at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Innsbruck. Dr. Miletić began his professional career at the Mihajlo Pupin Institute as a development engineer. He later spent over two decades working on power converter development at Xantrex Technology Inc. in Canada and Schneider Electric Solar in Europe and Canada. Since 2014, he has been with AIT (Austrian Institute of Technology). The presentation will showcase research on the application of three-phase power converters based on the latest multi-level topologies for power factor correction, thus enhancing power quality in low-voltage networks. Additionally, it will provide insights into how multi-level conversion can significantly improve both volumetric and gravimetric power density and achieve exceptionally high efficiency in power converters. Participants will have the opportunity to hear the latest research findings, share experiences, and ask questions. Izgradnja fotonaponske elektrane na krovovima termoelektrane „Nikola Tesla A“ u Obrenovcu je u završnoj fazi. Već u decembru možemo da očekujemo prve kilovat sate čiste energije iz elektrane snage 948 kilovata, dok je „Elektroprivredi Srbije“ u planu da na ovaj način proizvede više od 1GWh električne energije godišnje. Na projektu ugradnje fotonaponskih panela radi konzorcijum srpskih kompanija, dok je za ugradnju i implementaciju nadzorno – upravljačkog sistema zadužena IMP – Automatika. „Nadzorno-upravljački (DCS) sistem IMP-Automatika VIEW4 - T Power nadzire i upravlja celom fotonaponskom elektranom. Svaka od 3 celine ima svoj programabilni logički kontroler, PLC sa ulazno-izlaznim modulima. PLC-ovi sakupljaju sve veličine koje su neophodne za stabilan i optimizovan rad fotonaponske elektrane i prosleđuju ih serveru, koji se nalazi na komandi opšte grupe na TENT-u A. Operatorske stanice, na kojima se prati proces proizvodnje električne energije u fotonaponskoj elektrani, instalirane su na komandi opšte grupe i u službi za energetsku efikasnost TENT-a A. IMP-Automatika je ugradila i pustila u rad meteorološku stanicu koja, pored osnovnih veličina kao što su količina padavina, smer i brzina vetra, pritisak, meri i insolaciju. Metereološka stanica je integrisana u sistem za nadzor i upravljanje“, kaže Borko Vušović – vođa projekta. Osim Borka, na ovom projektu rade Nikola Hercegovac, Aleksandar Petrović, Dragan Smiljković i mnogi drugi. Prednost ovakvog vida elektrana je u tome što se zelena energija odmah koristi za sopstvenu potrošnju elektrane TENT A a sama elektrana ne zauzima poljoprivredno ili građevinsko zemljište, pošto se gradi na krovu. U planu je izgradnja fotonaponske elektrane na krovu pomoćnih objekata TENT-a B, dok je za 2026. planirana izgradnja na parkingu TENT-a A i TENT-a B, sa punjačima za električne automobile. --- The photovoltaic power plant on the rooftops of "Nikola Tesla A" in Obrenovac is almost complete, set to deliver its first clean energy by December. This 948 kW plant will generate over 1 GWh of electricity annually, supporting "Elektroprivreda Srbije" in sustainable energy goals. IMP-Automatika’s VIEW4 - T Power system is at the heart of the operation, monitoring and controlling three plant units with PLCs that ensure stable, optimized production. Key team members, including Borko Vušović, Nikola Hercegovac, Aleksandar Petrović, and Dragan Smiljković, have integrated a meteorological station to monitor crucial weather data, enhancing efficiency. This rooftop solution provides immediate green energy for TENT A’s own use and preserves agricultural land. Povodom obeležavanja Dana Mašinskog fakulteta Univerziteta u Beogradu juče je održana Svečana sednica Saveta u okviru koje su predstavljeni rezultati rada i dodeljene zahvalnice kompanijama i pojedincima. Na predlog Dekanskog kolegijuma, Institute Mihajlo Pupin uručena je zahvalnica za dobročinstvo i uspešnu saradnju, koja se u prethodnom periodu ogledala kroz donaciju vredne opreme i zajedničke projekte. Plamenica, odnosno oprema za ispitivanje ventilatorskih gasnih gorionica, projektovana i proizvedena u Laboratoriji za gasnu tehniku Instituta „Mihajlo Pupin“ dovešće do unapređenja laboratorijskih kapaciteta i nastavnog procesa na Mašinskom fakultetu, a samim tim i njegovom razvoju i afirmaciji. Zahvalnicu je u ime Instituta primio direktor dr Nikola Tomasevic. „Veliko je zadovoljstvo primiti zahvalnicu od najstarije i najveće visokoškolske i naučne ustanove u oblasti mašinstva u zemlji i regionu. Zahvalnica je potvrda višegodišnje saradnje Instituta i Mašinskog fakulteta, koji godinama unazad školuje najbolje kadrove koji su nakon završenih studija uspešni saradnici Instituta. Ovim putem zahvaljujemo Mašinskom fakultetu na prepoznatoj podršci i radujemo se ponovnoj saradnji“, rekao je direktor Instituta „Mihajlo Pupin“ dr Nikola Tomašević. --- In celebration of the Day of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade, a formal session of the Council took place yesterday, highlighting the institution’s accomplishments and honoring various companies and individuals for their contributions. On the recommendation of the Dean’s Council, the Institute Mihajlo Pupin was awarded a certificate of appreciation for its philanthropy and successful collaboration, demonstrated through the donation of valuable equipment and joint projects over the past period. The equipment for testing fan gas burners, designed and manufactured in the Gas Technology Laboratory of the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, will lead to the improvement of laboratory capacities and the teaching process at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, thereby contributing to its development and affirmation. The certificate of appreciation was received on behalf of the Institute by Director Dr Nikola Tomasevic. "It is a great honor to receive an acknowledgment from the oldest and largest higher education and scientific institution in the field of mechanical engineering in the country and the region. The certificate is a confirmation of the many years of collaboration between the Institute and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, which has for years been educating the best professionals who, after graduation, become successful associates of the Institute. Na Institute Mihajlo Pupin u petak 18.10. održan je radni sastanak između rukovodstva Elektroprivrede Srbije i rukovodstva Instituta. Sastanku su prisustvovali generalni direktor EPS-a Dušan Živković i njegov savetnik prof. dr Milan Radunović. Njih su ugostili direktor Instituta „Mihajlo Pupin“ Dr Nikola Tomasevic, direktor IMP-Automatika Bojan Papic, direktor IMP-Projekt Inženjering Aleksandar Jevtović i savetnici direktora IMP-Projekt inženjering Milivoje Miletić, prof. dr Radivoje Mitrović i Dragan Jovanović. Nakon predstavljanja portfolija Instituta i aktuelnih projekata, direktor Živković je istakao značaj učešća Instituta i podrške EPS-u kroz mnoge projekte, kao i obavezu da Institut još intenzivnije radi na razvoju savremenih tehnoloških rešenja, naročito iz oblasti primene veštačke inteligencije. Sastanak je nastavljen na temu krovnog sporazuma potpisanog između Republike Srpske i Srbije, a u vezi sa revitalizacijom postojećih termoelektrana u toj zemlji. Direktor Jevtović je prezentovao sveobuhvatne mogućnosti i spremnost Instituta u okupljanju neophodnih resursa  za revitalizaciju termoenergetskih kapaciteta. „Ovaj sastanak je pokazatelj da mi nastavljamo dobru praksu Instituta, a to je primena nauke u privredi. Od nas se, kao ključnih nosilaca tehnoloških promena, i očekuje da ponudimo rešenja koja su prihvatljiva za ovakve i slične projekte koji imaju veze sa energetikom i energetskom efikasnošću“, rekao je direktor IMP-Automatika Bojan Papic.  --- On Friday, October 18th, a working meeting took place at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin between the leadership of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia and the Institute's management. The attendees included EPS General Director Dušan Živković and his advisor, Prof. Dr. Milan Radunović, who were welcomed by Dr. Nikola Tomasevic, Director of the Mihajlo Pupin Institute. Also present were Bojan Papic, Director of IMP-Automatika, Aleksandar Jevtović, Director of IMP-Project Engineering, and the latter’s advisors, Milivoje Miletić, Prof. Dr. Radivoje Mitrović, and Dragan Jovanović. After the presentation of the Institute's portfolio and ongoing projects, Director Živković highlighted the Institute's key role in supporting EPS projects, especially in developing advanced technological solutions like artificial intelligence. Discussions also covered a framework agreement between the Republic of Srpska and Serbia on revitalizing thermal power plants. Director Jevtović presented the Institute's comprehensive capabilities and readiness to gather the necessary resources to revitalize thermal energy capacities. "This meeting demonstrates that we are continuing the Institute's good practice, which is the application of science in industry. As technology-driven leaders, we are expected to provide solutions that are appropriate for energy and energy efficiency projects, as stated by Bojan Papic, Director of IMP-Automatika.

Kada se pomenu trke na duže staze u Institute Mihajlo Pupin prvo pomislimo na kolege Miloša Milosavljevića, Sava Nestorovića i Dušana Miletića, koji su nedavno učestvovali na 6. čačanskom polumaratonu. Iako vremenski uslovi nisu bili savršeni, kolege su uspešno pobedile sve izazove, kao što na poslu timski radom ostvaruju svakodnevne uspehe. Milošu je ovo bilo treće učešće na polumaratonu u Čačku, a cilj mu je bio da obori prošlogodišnji rekord. „Pripreme za trku, kod nas terenaca, zahtevaju često dosta fleksibilnosti, pa često prilikom pakovanja stvari za teren zapakujemo i par patika za trčanje“, kaže on. Kroz cilj su svi prošli zajedno, kao IMP tim. „Lično mi je drago ispunjenje zadatog cilja, ali mislim da ne bih toliko uživao, a možda ni uspeo, da nisu Dušan i Savo bili pored mene“, zadovoljno ističe Miloš. Patike za trčanje u torbi za teren obavezan su rekvizit i kod Dušana koji kaže da i posle dugog terenskog dana, na nekoj od mnogobrojnih lokacija u Srbiji, uspeju da nađu vremena za zajednički trening. „Mi smo se upoznali na poslu jer radimo zajedno u odeljenju Održavanja i na nagovor starijih kolega počeli smo da trčimo. Trčanje je odlična aktivnost za kardiovaskularni sistem i kondiciju, ali ujedno i za oslobađanje stresa i nervoze sa kojima se svako od nas suočava“, kaže Dušan. Najmlađi u timu je Savo, sa impresivnim stažom od deset istrčanih trka.„Različiti su benefiti od trčanja, kako fizički, tako i psihički. Smatram da se tako gradi karakter i da pomaže i u ostalim sferama života, a to je i razlog zbog kog trčim“, kaže Savo. Čestitke kolegama na postignutom rezultatu! Njihova želja je da nas sledeće godine bude bar duplo više u Čačku! --- Our colleagues Miloš Milošavljević, Savo Nestorović, and Dušan Miletić recently participated in the 6th Čačak Half Marathon, representing the Institute Mihajlo Pupin with pride and determination. Despite less-than-ideal weather, they crossed the finish line together, just as they tackle challenges at work—through teamwork and perseverance. For Miloš, this was his third time running the Čačak half marathon. "As field workers, preparing for races requires flexibility, and I often pack my running shoes with my work gear. Achieving my goal felt great, but I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much—or maybe even succeeded—without Dušan and Savo beside me," he said. Dušan also finds time to train despite a busy work schedule. "After long days in the field, we manage to fit in a run together. We met through work in the Maintenance Department and started running on the advice of older colleagues.
