Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and treatments
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and reports
- Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse license in the state of Oregon
- Special training, experience, or knowledge in providing care for older adults in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of providing RN assessments, delegations, and ensuring caregiver competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
