Romanians are highly dissatisfied with the overall quality of the #education system. According to a survey conducted by #Ipsos among adult citizens in 30 countries, the proportion of those assessing the quality of the education system as “good” is three times smaller in Romania vs the global average (11% vs 33%). Compared to when they were in school, adults aged 25-74 consider that the overall quality of the system is now worse - especially in Romania. For our fellow citizens, the outdated curriculum, inadequate teacher training and high dropout rates are the biggest challenges, largely beyond the global level. Read more here (in Romanian)

In a world where accurate information can change destinies, the Lifestyle Survey conducted for the healthcare company Organon invites us to reflect on a worrying reality in Romania. The fact that 25% of women aged 15-29 have not consulted a gynecologist in the past 5 years is not just a statistic, but an echo of profound gaps in self care and understanding the importance of preventive behavior. When knowledge of contraceptive methods is limited to just 4 options, immediate actions are necessary. Beyond statistics, it's about lives.
