New projects, new teams, new CGMers, and definitely new good beginnings. This is how we can describe the last period within CGM Software Romania, because we are expending and growing our activity. Last week, we were thrilled to have two guests from Germany: Tobias Schäfer, Chief Product Architect, and Andreas Wente, VP of Development. Their visit was packed with insightful presentations on our groundbreaking projects: MDA, EOS, Praxis, and iFAP, plus in-depth discussions on AI strategies and the next generation of applications. It was a productive visit, that left us all buzzing with ideas and enthusiasm, and more determined to push the boundaries of innovation and shaping the future of eHealth. We ended the week with our 3rd edition of Backgammon CGMpionship. After 6 intense hours, we said „Congratulations” to the big winners: - 4th place: Claudiu Loghin, who registered in the last minute; - 3rd place: Sorin Scripcariu, who managed to eliminate our annually champion, Alexandru Sima, and to get to the podium for the first time; - 2nd place: Adrian Corozel, one of our regular winners in all CGMpionships, who was in the 2nd place last year as well; - 1st place: Paula Chelariu (Ciocârlău), a regular winner on the Backgammon podium and the first woman to win one of our CGMpionships. Congratulations to all the winners and to all the participants, because we saw some pretty good games, who demonstrated once again that the CGMers are real passionate professionals who surely know how to have fun. Last evening we met again for July`s edition of 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥, our monthly hybrid sessions of workshops on 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 – 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 #𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞. This time, the topic was 𝐏𝐂𝐌 – 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥, this useful communication tool that can help us to better understand why someone is doing something that for us is so hard to understand. Plus, it helps us to better understand our own personality structure. Maria Haraga, Trainer, senior coach, performance mentor, certified in NLP, PCM & Emotional Assertiveness, took us through this amazing journey of PCM and explained to us in detail each level of PCM: 1. The Thinker 2. The Persister 3. The Harmonizer 4. The Imaginer 5. The Promoter 6. The Rebel Now that we saw how each personality type is working, living and reacting, not only that we understand why they are doing or saying certain things, but we know how to better communicate with them from now on. Both in our personal and professional life.

We asked Alexandra Chircu, QA, Team Lead and Owner of the Bug Hunt 2024, how it was to organize for the first time an event like this. „𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑎 𝑐𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑎 𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑤ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑒 𝑝𝑢𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑢𝑝 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑒𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝐶𝐺𝑀 𝐻𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑛. Aaand we have the big winners of the Bug Hunt 2024. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝟖𝟎𝟎 𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐰, formed by two of our senior QAs: Petruta-Bogdana Patrichi and Radu Azamfirei. Bogdana is a CGMer for one month and Radu has more than 6 years within CGM. The funny thing is that they were combined by the organizers for this event, and 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭. But it seems that they did a great job together, because their individual experience as seniors in QA and as humans after 40 really helped them win this competition. We also want to congratulate all the participating teams, but mostly the ones on the podium, because they were so close to win this: - 2𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒: 𝐁𝐔𝐆 𝐌𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐚 – Alexandru Sima and Malina Iurcu - 3𝑟𝑑 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒: 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐬 – Andrei Lefter and Anemaria Ciobotaru Until our next edition, we wish all our QAs to hunt down all the bugs and encourage them to become organizers of more future great QA events within CGM.

At 6 PM, the teams will deliver their presentations. Until then, we let them work in silence and we present you 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐁𝐮𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭 (from left to right): - Marina Dan, QA Automation Engineer - Codrin Păduraru, QA Professional - Silviu Pascariu, FrontEnd Developer from the winning team of the Hackathon - Alexandra Chircu, QA, Team Lead and Owner of the Bug Hunt 2024 (we will tell you more about Alexandra next week, after she will sleep and recover) - Nicolae Plăcintă, QA Automation Engineer and Mentor for QA Community - Denis Crusos, BackEnd Developer from the winning team of the Hackathon - Emil Oprea, Functional Lead on Product Owners Community They are the CGMers who will decide the champions of the day, so stay close to find out what they decide and what team is going home with 800 euros.

He said that CGM is the workplace where he stayed the longest. And we are more than happy and honored to work with him in all these years. Because Stefan Curcan is the perfect example of 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 (our 4 values), always ready to deliver great service and to help his colleagues. A great professional who knows how to have fun, delighting us with his knowledge and his funny jokes. Stefan was essential in the smooth running of the Bug Hunt primarily because he was our DevOps and deployed our little app on a server so that everyone can access it, saving us the trouble of having to install java, nodejs and docker on all the participants machines. He also helped in the crisis when the calls the app made to ChatCGM were not allowed on the hosted environment by replacing the endpoint with the official openAI API and his own personal API key. Thank you, Ștefan. For being such an important part of the Bug Hunt, but mostly for being such an important part of CGM.

Not just a regular Friday. Today, it is time for a 𝐁𝐮𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭. Seven teams registered to find the bugs in the winning application from the Hackathon and win the big prize of 800 euros: 1. 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐬: Anemaria Ciobotaru & Andrei Lefter 2. 𝐁𝐮𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: Costina Judele and Alexandra Haleța 3. 𝐁𝐔𝐆 𝐌𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐚: Mălina Iurcu and Alexandru Sima 4. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐰: Bogdana Patrichi and Radu Azamfirei 5. 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐬: Bianca Bălteanu and Oana Agafiței 6. 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐎𝐧𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞: Claudiu Loghin and Cătălin Pascaru (remote) 7. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭 (fully remote): Sorina Sigartău and Bianca Savin Stay tune, because this evening, when the Bug Hunt ends, we will find who the big winners are and who is going home with the money. We will also get back soon with info about the jury, the organizers and the application.

Two years ago, we started the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 within CGM Software Romania, driven by Péter Iszak from onTarget Consulting with exceptional quality. A long-term program, with a complex structure, meant to establish a common language around leadership and to help CGM Software Romania to continue to be a fun place to work, consistently grow, and meet clients and CGMers needs. Now, Peter was back again in Iași, for another step of the program and for another insightful 3-day training called „𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 & 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞”. „𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑖𝑚 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑚 𝑖𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑠ℎ 𝑓𝑙𝑒𝑥𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑎𝑛 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑝 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑏𝑢𝑖𝑙𝑑 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑙𝑢𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑦. „𝑃𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑦” ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑑𝑜 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑙𝑢𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑏𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑠𝑜 𝑚𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑜𝑟 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑏𝑢𝑖𝑙𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠.
