  • It's a beautiful day today! I've made significant progress on my app, CheersFor. I wanted users to be able to write short, themed stories and create polls for their coworkers, both past and present. However, it's crucial that these stories aren't malicious or written out of anger, as that helps no one and reflects poorly on the writer. I understand it's tough to write positively about hurtful experiences. That's why I decided to use ChatGPT to analyze the tone of users' stories. If the tone is negative, ChatGPT suggests a positive rewrite from which everyone can learn something valuable. Users can then adjust this revised version to include any important details. I'm proud that this feature is now up and running. P.S. The design is basic, but the functionality is solid, as shown in the attached images. 😀

  • Programming languages are like playgrounds with their own tools and rules. Programmers use these tools to create results, similar to customizing templates. In Java, there are countless tools, and mastering them can take a lifetime. That’s why experienced programmers are well paid. But I believe AI will change this soon. Difficult problems often have known solutions, like those on Stack Overflow. AI knows these solutions and can help assemble code templates. Programming is shifting from writing code line by line to assembling templates with AI’s help. Why do I believe this? Because it works. I created a functional web app in 3 days without writing any code myself, just by querying AI for ideas, code, and error solutions. Now, I'm doing the same with the Cheers For mobile app. As a junior Java developer, integrating complex services should require senior-level skills. But with AI, even as a beginner, I can do it faster than a any senior developer would do it without AI. Programming will soon be about having an idea, knowing how to query AI, and understanding basic app structure. In the near future, we might create apps from just a detailed idea description. So,... production will get cheaper. The real value will be in selling the idea... 😀

  • The most difficult thing is to make the frontend of your own mobile application. like whatever you do, it doesn't turn out well enough. It's like taking an exam with yourself. But maybe now is not the time to make it as attractive as possible. Just clarify some of your ideas and continue working on this application. In the end, we reduced its complexity: users will only be able to register with their LinkedIn account. Because accepting registration with an email address, with a Google or Facebook account would not have led anywhere. It would just add more complexity for no reason. Here, one more reason to do such a simulation from the first. Don't start thinking it in your head, with a pencil and writing code... for nothing 😀

  • How do you create a mobile app for a very useful but somewhat unpleasant service? Who would install such an app on their phone? Probably very few. But what if we made it primarily useful for the user, aware of potential future issues, and only secondarily beneficial for the commissioning company? Then we have a chance. This was the logic behind the frontend of this mobile app for a network of dental clinics. 😀

  • Creating a frontend mobile app prototype for Adrian Cadar's an online store (Obio.ro) was challenging. I had to simplify something very complex for both loyal customers and first-time visitors. I aimed to provide personalized recommendations based on user behavior and order history. The app allows users to create a wishlist and receive alerts for those items. A smooth checkout process was essential, along with order tracking and push notifications, which are key features for any mobile app. Finally, I added reminders to help maintain healthy eating habits. I'm curious about your opinion. What could have been different? Better? .

  • I found it challenging to create a mobile app for negotiation training services. Even after reading the information on Raluca's website, I didn't know where to start or what to include. Finally, I summarized everything into 4 key features the app should have: 1. Push Notifications: The app can send push notifications to notify users about new training sessions, special offers, relevant articles, or other important events. 2. Integrated Calendar: Users can access an integrated calendar where they can schedule coaching sessions, meetings, and other important events. They can receive notifications before each event. 3. Instant Feedback for Simulations and Role-Playing Games: The ability to offer and receive instant feedback after training or coaching sessions, which can continuously improve the experience and efficiency. 4. Real-Time Chat and Support: A chat function to discuss in real-time with a consultant or coach, getting quick answers to urgent questions. I hope you like the result! And you too, Raluca! 😀

  • Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, I embarked on a journey of artistic exploration, delving into the intricate world of watercolor painting. Guided by a skilled instructor who had relocated to Belgium, I honed my craft to new heights, as an amateur. My muse? The captivating architecture of Oradea, a city close to my heart. If you're curious to witness the fruits of my labor, I invite you to explore 'Feeling Oradea' on Facebook, where I've showcased my most cherished creations. Recently, I noticed that Alexandru Chira from Visit Oradea is among my LinkedIn connections, despite our lack of personal acquaintance. And thus, excited and inspired about all these, I embarked on crafting a prototype for a mobile application—a testament to the beauty and allure of Oradea's architectural wonders. Here's a glimpse of what transpired... 😀
