Job Title: Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor or Assistant/Associate Lecturer (nontenure-track) Job Summary: Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor or Assistant/Associate Lecturer (nontenure-track) to coordinate and teach undergraduate and graduate Business Analytics courses, advise students, and participate in service activities within the Information Systems & Analytics Department and the Farmer School of Business.
This position will begin in the fall semester of 2024.
Minimum Qualifications: Required: For appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor, applicants must have a doctorate in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field by the date of appointment.
Candidates must also have related teaching experience with evidence of teaching effectiveness.
For appointment as Associate Teaching Professor, applicants must have a doctorate in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field by the date of appointment and a strong portfolio of teaching, as well as relevant industry experience.
For appointment as Assistant Lecturer, applicants must have a masters in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field by the date of appointment.
Candidates must also have related teaching experience with evidence of teaching effectiveness.
For appointment as Associate Lecturer, applicants must have a masters in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field by the date of appointment and a strong portfolio of teaching, as well as relevant industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications Consideration may be given to candidates with experience teaching in a business school; engaging with students in professional skills such as problem solving, technical writing, coding, written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated interest in student success and student-centered service activities such as extracurricular advising and course development; and work experience in Data Science/Analytics or a related area.
