I have refractory (uncontrolled) seizures. Dilantin is the one pill I've stayed on since I was diagnosed. It is the most effective for me. It's easy to take, and I've never experienced side effects. Like most AEDs, birth control pills are not acceptable to be taken together. I got pregnant.
