Unfortunately, we are not able to provide support to students who are doing projects or research due to limited capacity within our teams. Refuge’s website may be of help to you for better understanding domestic abuse, and you may also find the information provided on the National Domestic Abuse Helpline website informative, however, this is primarily a service for survivors.
Gift aid is the government scheme that allows charities to reclaim the tax on donations from UK taxpayers who have signed up to the scheme. Charities can claim an extra 25p for every pound donated under this scheme at no cost to the donor. To gift aid your donations, you must pay enough tax during the year to cover the gift aid that all the charities you support under the scheme will claim from your donations. For more information, please go to the government Gift Aid website.
In order to claim gift aid on your donations, we will need a Gift Aid Declaration from you. If you donate through our website, you will have the option to provide this during the process. If you donate in another manner or are unsure if you have provided a declaration previously, and would like to make a gift aid declaration, please download and complete this form and send it back to us via email or alternatively via post to:
Refuge
3rd Floor
One America Square 17 Crosswall London
EC3N 2LB
You only need to provide a Gift Aid Declaration once; you do not need to provide a new one each time you donate.
