Seeking Courier Job with Housing (Davenport)

Seeking cash paying job in exchange for housing (apartment, room or even Camper or RV) preferably as a courier, package delivery driver or clerk though would be open to discussing any job.
This is the first time that I've had a problem finding a job.
I'm college educated, trustworthy, friendly, good with people and articulate (really love children and animals, especially dog's).
I do have a valid Iowa driver license (no accident or tickets ever in my life) and an expired pilot's license.
My situation is getting rather "grim and desperate", so really would appreciate anything possible or I'll be sleeping in my car rather soon.
I was combat wounded in Afghanistan and do walk with a cane, however it never impairs my work performance.
