College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)-Qatar University

The College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) is the academic heart of Qatar University and its largest college. The College offers a unique and pioneering curriculum that reflects current and future research needs. CAS's environment embraces intellectual curiosity and treasures debate while we work to create knowledge based society for the benefit of all people. CAS offers a range of academic courses, various community engagement opportunities, and cutting edge research centers where you will find endless opportunities to engage with a diverse group of students and faculty that will inspire you to learn and improve. The college's 15 undergraduate programs include Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Statistics, Arabic, Mass Communication, English, History, International Affairs, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Sport Science and Policy, planning and Development . CAS also offers 7 graduate programs. These are: M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences, M.A. in Gulf Studies, M.A. in Arabic Language and Literature, M.Sc. in Applied Statistics, M.Sc. in Materials Science and Technology, PhD. in Gulf Studies (Dual- Degree program with Durham University) PhD. in Biological and Environmental Sciences (Dual-Degree program with Korea University – College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology.
