I have observed something over the years, and I think it's crucial for an effective training session: how we introduce the drill to the players. Some coaches explain the drill dynamic in a circle, and after they put the players in place, they remember the information. Putting the players in place and showing an example is the best way for the players to assimilate the information and run the drill faster.
