I’d be TLDV because they deliver great results while having fun and not taking themselves too seriously. 🧠 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁? I have a 10 second recorder in my brain that allows me to be distracted but never get caught out when someone asks me what did they just say (which my wife hates but it's great for multitasking). 💛 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Last night, we hosted another Endeavor x Shilling Intimate Dinner, where founders and investors gathered for an insightful discussion on “Preparing Your Series A.” With Philippe Teixeira da Mota (Co-Founder at Shapers) and Lomax Ward (General Partner at Outsized Ventures) leading the conversation, we explored the critical steps founders need to take to perfect their pitch, achieve product-market fit, and meet the metrics expected at this stage. Philippe, with his fintech expertise, and Lomax, with his deeptech focus, shared real-world examples that truly resonated with the group, offering practical strategies for navigating the complexities of Series A fundraising. Ensure that you understand and adhere to these. ❌ Don’t underestimate corporate culture and processes: Corporates operate differently from startups. They often have more complex decision-making processes, longer sales cycles, and a different risk appetite. Eduardo, with his extensive experience as a project manager leading global enterprise-level deliveries, along with his deep business intelligence expertise, is scaling PwC’s tech efforts to new heights!
