Showcasing Growth: SBA THRIVE Capstone Event with the North Metro Cohort Today, alongside my Program Manager, Ricardo Martinez, we facilitated the SBA THRIVE Capstone Event with the North Metro Cohort (Tropical Thrivers). After six months of dedication and growth, 19 CEOs representing small enterprises in this region delivered concise, impactful presentations outlining their three-year growth plans. These presentations were shared with an exceptional panel of volunteers from the Federal Sector, THRIVE Alumni Network, and Private Sector, who provided invaluable feedback to help refine these plans further. The challenge of presenting strategic growth succinctly while receiving constructive insights was met with excellence by every participant. This event underscores the power of collaboration and the collective expertise required to drive entrepreneurial success. Acknowledgments 🟢 To our panel of volunteers (Joseph Nieves Del Valle, Marcos J. Cárdenas, Dr. José Vélez González, Giancarlo Diaz-Munio, CFP®, CSLP®, Luis Cordero, Miguel A. Vázquez-Padua, Sonia M Maldonado, MBA, SCBC, Ricardo M. Rodriguez, Javier Billosh, Leonyl Ortiz-González, Mayra Martinez): Your time, expertise, and thoughtful feedback significantly impacted our participants' plans. 🟢 To SBA T.H.R.I.V.E. Organization: Thank you for supporting this event with an excellent venue. 🟢 To our venue host and alumni: Special thanks to Elba Torres-Matundan, MD, FCAP, FASCP, for helping with logistics, providing materials, internet resources, and more, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. 🟢 To my 2023 cohort alumni (Jaasiel Pacheco, Francisco "Paco" Rodriguez-Castro, CHFP., and Zelma Dávila, Esq.): Your decision to return as a volunteer and engage with this year's participants exemplifies the strength and continuity of the THRIVE community. 🟢 To one of this year's participants (Kathy M. Muir and her husband Mario): Your thoughtful gesture of bringing local coffee and refreshments kept everyone energized and focused throughout the afternoon. This Capstone Event reflects the remarkable potential of these small business leaders and the incredible network of support surrounding them. It's inspiring to witness the collaboration between the public and private sectors, federal agencies, and alumni networks, which fosters opportunities for growth and innovation. To the Tropical Thrivers: This is just the beginning. Continue building on the knowledge and experiences gained, and let your vision guide your success. Here's to continued growth and achievement for all! SBA Puerto Rico & U.S. Virgin Islands District Office 90D S2E Coaching LLC
