Pavion and our family of companies (AFA, Structure Works, Star Asset Security, REECE et al) are seeking a talented and motivated Security Sales Consultant to join our Security Business Unite! POSITION SUMMARY Create and increase customer demand for REECE Complete Security Solutions, and services through a coordinated process of determining client perceptions and satisfying client preferences.
Maintain consistent sales goal achievement by selling Access Control, Video Surveillance, and associated security systems to medium, large, and enterprise clients, primarily in SW Washington & Oregon's I-5 corridor to public and private organizations.
Demonstrate a constant effort to be innovative and proactive in the development of sales and sales leads.
Continuously strive to position REECE Complete Security Solutions as the leader in their marketplace with the best products and best installations and support capabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute to the Directors of Sales annual Sales & Marketing planning effort; set specific goals and action plans.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all REECE systems.
Contact prospective customers to explain REECE Complete Security Solution’s services and benefits.
Conduct site surveys at prospect’s place of business and analyzes prospects requirements.
Perform system demonstration of product likely to meet prospect’s requirements.
Present prospective client detailed proposal including Scope of Work & System Function descriptions designed specifically to meet customer's needs.
Complete sales package and turn project over to operations team with all required information.
Attend tradeshows and key industry meetings as required.
Develop and maintain relationships with multiple individuals within prospective client organizations, including decision-making, decision influencing, and purchasing contacts.
Review projects to identify if the work is something REECE wants to pursue and forward on to the Director of Sales for final determination.
Demonstrate a team spirit in all job-related activities and communications with coworkers and customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years demonstrated related experience and training.
Oregon Drivers' License Preferred Qualifications The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
The ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
The ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
They must use REECE's Q360 (Customer Relationship Management Program) daily, entering all new prospect and client data into the Q360 database.
