This is an entry-level role supporting the sales team.
You will work closely with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to maximize the sale of supplier brands to high image beverage accounts through effective selling execution, account management, and communication - resulting in the achievement of company and supplier objectives.
Account Management Sales Representative Trainees plan time and activities to ensure achievement of company and supplier established goals and sales objectives within assigned accounts by: Effectively executing distribution and volume through various qualitative drivers - distribution, displays, pricing, point of sales use, wine lists, promotions, banquets, and special events.
Conducting staff training and education in all assigned accounts.
Identifying opportunities, developing and implementing 'Account Action Plans'.
Developing monthly, weekly and daily written plans for execution.
Creating customer business building concepts to increase company share and volume.
Working collaboratively with supplier personnel to develop product knowledge, assist with presentations and accounts.
Participate in work-with’s with sales reps to better understand market conditions in each individual sales territory.
Participate in sales trainings to better the knowledge of brands we carry.
Selling As a Sales Rep Trainee, you will obtain company and supplier quotas and revenue growth by: Selling concepts by consulting with the customer on strategies that will collectively enhance both business models.
Building relationships and an effective partnership with the ultimate decision maker in assigned accounts.
Utilizing pricing and promotion strategies, marketing opportunities, servicing, merchandising and category management skills.
Merchandising Work product from store back stock or delivery loads.
Fill cold boxes and shelves with appropriate merchandise.
Build displays in stores and maintain POS (point of sale) as necessary.
Rotate product on an ongoing basis.
Maintain back stock areas so that they are clean and organized.
Communicating Sales Rep Trainees serve as information resources for, and conduits between, the field and the company by: Communicating issues, opportunities and market intelligence through effective written, electronic and verbal means.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1+ years of sales experience.
Proven track record of successful selling Solid communication, negotiation, analytical and objection handling skills.
Ability to work with management, colleagues, and customers throughout the business and industry at every level.
Key attributes: entrepreneurial self-starter, ambitious personality, accountable and action oriented.
Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
Walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl daily.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean DMV record.
21+ years of age.

Summary RNDC is looking for a collaborative and energetic Sales Representative Trainee to join our growing sales operations team.
In this role, you will Responsible for an assigned territory with the purpose to generate sales and ensure that customers have uninterrupted service.
Support the trade and customer base through 1:1 visits with Management, peers, and independently.
Identify sales opportunities at accounts by demonstrating selling skills while focusing on incremental sales and volume with the account Participate in promotional marketing and customer events that strengthen our brands and market share.
Check quantities of goods on display and in stock and service the account.
Review, understand, and use information on competitive products, promotional matter, sales techniques, and pricing in the course of sales generation.
Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on future buying trends.
Record sales and order information and send copies to the appropriate system or contact for delivery purposes.
Review sales performance, against targets and adjust sales strategy.
Additional duties include incidental deliveries and collections, writing sales reports, updating or revising the employee's sales or display catalogue, planning itineraries and attending sales conferences.
Possession of and operating a motor vehicle to access customer accounts for delivery, promotion, and efficient and prompt sales and other key activities.
