What You Will Do:
As an Inside Sales Representative, the primary function will be working with Account Managers, project managers and engineers to facilitate customer orders.
You will work with account managers and external/internal customers to ensure a smooth process from enquiries, quotes, orders, shipping, delivery, and follow-up.
You will demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism to both internal and external customers.
We are looking for someone who has customer service experience within the machining/metal/construction field.
This is an hourly position with no cold calling and no commission.
Job Function:
Communicates with customers, makes outbound calls to potential customers, receives incoming calls, and follows up on leads
Understands customers' needs and identifies sales opportunities
Answers potential customers' questions and sends additional information as necessary
Keeps up with product and service information and updates
Explains features of products and services
Stays informed about competing products and services
Qualifies leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, and the like
Upsells products and services
Works with managers to determine pricing structures for quotes
Works with production and warehouse as necessary
Enters orders into database management system

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years’ inside sales experience (incoming call preferred)
Experience with Global Shop Solutions a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
