Comfort Food with Kelly Rizzo
In January 2022, something really shitty happened to Kelly Rizzo: she suddenly lost her husband Bob Saget. In the days that followed she cried, talked to all of their friends and ate a lot of great food. And that’s what life’s all about isn’t it? Making it through… ideally while eating something delicious. On Comfort Food we interview high profile guests about love, life, loss and everything in between over a delicious meal. Grab a fork and tune in! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Excellent podcast

I have followed Kelly on social media for years, but I somehow just recently learned of her podcast. I recently lost my dad, and these stories, especially about Bob, hit close to home. It’s so refreshing and validating to listen to this open space of people talking about something everyone will endure at some point. I adore Kelly and I have enjoyed every episode so far. The addition of comfort food and recipes is also such a cool idea!
So happy I found this ❤️

As someone dealing with grief due to an unexpected, tragic loss myself, this is comforting and I enjoy listening. So happy that she finally had CCB on- love her !
So Informative

So glad you had Hospice Nurse Julie on the podcast. I wish I would have had this information when my mother was dying in 2020. She had dementia and we were shocked when she went into the hospital and they told us to contact hospice. We brought her home with hospice and she died in 5 weeks. She experienced so many of the things Julia spoke about. I tried learning as much as possible online as hospice isn’t there all the time. It made me less afraid to know what to expect. Can’t wait to read Julie’s book.
Love it - most of the time

Love the idea of this and the guests. The only thing I find annoying is talking about Special Forces. We get it, you did Special Forces.
