Summer is here, these tracks have been waiting in the cryogenic freezer and it's time to thaw them out. Throw these into your summer dancefloor recipes and see how it makes you feel. A delicate balance of sexy, sassy, techy, and sketchy, mostly edits and the token original track (Jump n Bump Anthem). There's something for the whole family on here. Made with love and impatience, forever and always.
Plush V is a collection of musical collaborations with producer/DJ Regularfantasy (1/2 of Push Managements Inc.) with DJ Chrysalis from Melbourne, Cromie from Los Angeles, Frankie T from Mars, and last but not least, Dosage from Montreal. Plush Records is a label founded by D.Tiffany and Regularfantasy, embracing a fun, femme and playful sound and focusing on pop edits for the dancefloor.
The description no one asked for:
The first track, Genie is a cute and sexy deep tech edit of Xtina's famous teen anthem, made in a shed outside of Melbourne with Chrysalis and Regularfantasy. It takes you on a nice techy journey for those hot n heavy moments beginning, middle or end of set. Next up is the funky n chunky Sunset Blvd (Crazy Cars Remix) which was inspired by the famous... Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles with the top down in Cromie's late convertible. The original track is cool but we decided to dust and crunch it up a bit to taste. "Need to Be Nakey" was made, again, in the shed in Melbourne, a lifelong dream of Regularfantasy's to make an edit of this track "Naked" by Amber, yet needed the perfect synergy with Chrysalis. Being naked includes taking off your socks, don't forget! "These Soundzth" an early collaboration between two loves, Frankie T and Regularfantasy, is an edit of The Bucketheads - "The Bomb", a house classic, retrofitted for the modern DJ set. Dosage's "Jump N Bump Anthem" is an uplifting reminder to do the jump and do the bump. Easy as that, but don't leave the dancefloor too long. And finally, "Gaga's Bus" is a sample from Lady's Gaga's interview on her touring life, a nice little Gaga moment to slip into a set.
