I've been using Android Auto for years, and it’s been a great experience overall. I really appreciate how easy it is to switch between maps and various apps within the system, making it convenient and user-friendly. The auto-connect feature is a nice touch, though occasionally it keeps trying to reconnect to my phone when I don’t want it to. However, that seems more like a Bluetooth issue with my phone than a problem with Android Auto itself. Overall, it’s a fantastic product, and I’ve encounter

The app is typically fine. Not sure if it is the app in the car or app on my phone, but occasionally it stops connecting. I have to just go without the connection, because no matter what you try, it won't just suddenly connect. But the next time I run on the car it connects just fine. Also, sometimes the car app loses responsiveness. As in not accepting touch inputs, but it is displaying fine. This issue is easier to resolve, but you don't want to be trouble shooting going 60 mph.

Android Auto has been hit or miss, so far. I like what it's supposed to do. In theory, it should add more hands-free control of my phone, along with access to more apps. In reality, it's hard to get anything to run. I can't customize my screen because there are so few options. I can't always get Google Maps to load. Google Assistant often fails to respond through my sound system, or if she does, there's a long delay. I would love to make more use of this, but it just isn't flexible.
