Digital accessibility and accessible webdesign is a topic close to my heart. The topic's importance is increasing due to the EU's new Accessibility Act coming into force on 28 June 2025 - but it is not the only reason we should take it into consideration. Real equality is impossible without accessibility - and the whole society can benefit from it. Residential rental markets are more and more messed up in almost all Western countries. The cost of living is going up. Landlords are keeping properties empty to reduce risk. Tenants are angry because prices are high and there are no places to live. The conflict between the landlords and tenants is brewing and getting worse as time goes on. If we want to fix the situation, it should be a positive revolution and finding a way to move on together with meaningful compromises and empathy rather than polarization and blaming each other. I put my thoughts down and even though they are quite Poland-specific, I believe you can apply them to almost all markets in Europe in nature. This trailblazer laid the foundation for the vibrant and resilient economy Poland enjoys today🕹️📈 🎮 CD Projekt: From Polish Startup to Global Gaming Icon 🌍 In the ever-evolving world of gaming, few companies have made a splash like CD Projekt. Starting as a small distributor in Poland in 1994, this powerhouse transformed into a global leader in storytelling, creativity, and innovation. Their journey began humbly, importing Western video games to a market still finding its feet after years of state control. But founders Marcin Iwiński and Michał Kiciński had a bigger vision. They wanted to create games that would resonate deeply with players—and they succeeded beyond anyone’s expectations. 💡 The turning point? In the early 2000s, CD Projekt took a bold step and started developing their own games. Will telematics save Polish transport? 🌐🔍   The industry is struggling with rising operating costs, competition from Ukraine and high fuel prices.   ❗In the first quarter of 2024, 120 transport companies in Poland went bankrupt. The industry is struggling with debts amounting to PLN 3.2 billion, affecting more than 37,000 companies.   ⬇More than 60% of carriers are downsizing their workforces and fleets or intend to do so in the coming months - according to ZMPD calculations, the industry employs nearly one million people.   📈Forecasts indicate that by 2029 the European #telematics market will reach more than 43 million devices. 46.9% of fleet companies believe that using modern #technology in fleet management leads to savings.   In my opinion, telematics systems allow for better fleet #management, which can improve the profitability and competitiveness of #transport companies. One funny story about when UX and UI go in the wrong direction. This is a mobile app from one huge telecommunications company in Poland. Did you know that when you go through the app and want to skip to the next page (1), you don't have any possibility to do this? Why? Because your action triggers an additional popup (2) to make a call to this company. It is not important to answer the question now: on which phones does this problem not occur. If this problem happens on most popular phones, it means it is a serious mistake. Especially if you encounter this problem with one of the biggest telecommunications companies. And would you see a better place for the quick contact button? Have a nice day!

As interest rates spiked in 2022, land prices for residential projects in the Czech Republic tanked. With the rates now coming down, life is returning to the residential market. And that includes demand for land, according to Iztok Toplak, whose data indicates that prices are climbing again. But in Prague -- and in its immediate surroundings -- prices haven't reached their highs from a couple years ago. And if you look at the numbers (reproduced in ThePrime) the situation is still relatively volatile.
