Recently, the first draft of Poland's Digitalization Strategy 2035 was presented. We have compiled a summary below. Particularly important to me is the focus on engaging citizens in decision-making processes and supporting startups to strengthen the country's innovation ecosystem. As members of IAB Poland, we hope to help bring some of these great initiatives to life. Here are some key elements of the strategy (the full presentation is available via the link in the comments): 1️⃣ Security in the Digital Space Comprehensive measures to protect children from harmful content and cyber threats will be a priority. Combating disinformation and promoting digital hygiene will help create a safer information environment. Data protection and citizens' privacy will be ensured at all levels of digital interaction. 2️⃣ Increasing Digital Skills The creation of a national center for digital competencies will provide citizens access to educational resources. Increasing the share of women in the IT sector to 35% by 2035 will support gender equality in the industry. 3️⃣ Fair Digital Transformation Protecting workers' rights in the digital economy will ensure fair working conditions and adaptation to new technologies. Transparency in public administration through open data and citizen participation in decision-making processes. 4️⃣ Artificial Intelligence (AI) The application of the AI Act will promote AI development in Poland. Supporting AI startups will strengthen the country's innovation ecosystem. 5️⃣ Digital Sovereignty Expanding the presence of the Polish language in the digital environment (PLLuM) will preserve cultural identity in the digital world. Increasing computing power tenfold by 2035 will support scientific research. Supporting young STEM specialists and attracting IT talent from abroad will help develop high-tech industries. #strategy #Poland
