This certification validates my knowledge of the Scrum framework and my ability to support and enable value creation and delivery. Earning PSPO I shows my understanding of how to bridge the gap between strategy and agile product management in order to create valuable products using Scrum.

Yesterday Conscia hosted a webinar with EPAM Systems to talk about EPAM’s Salesforce B2B Composable Accelerator, Powered by Conscia. #Dreamforce24 is coming up and we’ll be there to showcase it. (Not me personally. The collective Conscia “we”.) I missed the initial live run of the webinar because I was handling daycare drop offs, which just gave me the opportunity to leisurely enjoy the recording later in the afternoon, to rewind and replay the nuggets. Beyond the usual “Composable Rah Rah!” cheerleading type material – which must be said because #composable is key to modern business technology – I was struck when Dirk Jan van der Pol started talking about how a composable architecture with an #orchestration layer allows you to adapt to the workflows of the *customer*. It frees you from the chains of your systems’ workflows. You get this flexibility of functionality. And you won’t get stuck in a system. (This was around the 18 minute mark.) A bit later Marc Relford came at this idea from another angle. He said that platforms have traditionally been custom built for the processes of *today*, at a specific point in time. But processes evolve. And we need an approach that allows the *platforms* to evolve to handle them. Because again, the processes should inform the platform, not vice versa. As vendors we talk a lot about selling to solve business problems and the importance of understanding a business’s goals. From all the sales books I’ve read, it seems we used to focus too much on the technology, so we boomeranged to the business. What I think we’ve found here is a middle balance. Selling architectures that align technology to business strategy, that fundamentally change a business’s relationship to their technology. (As Clay Hobson summed up near the end.) A composable transformation, if done right, has the potential to unleash a business, from the ground up, from the technological underpinnings to the customer experience. Imagine all those pieces being in full alignment. Able to flex and move with each other. Good morning! It’s 7 AM, and I’ve just woken up to an critical issue in Production. As a Project Manager overseeing the product team and also the client services team, tackling urgent issues in production is a typical start to my day :). Project management presents daily challenges and high-pressure situations, but I have effective strategies in place to manage stress and handle these challenges efficiently: - Prioritize and Triage: Assess the urgency and impact of the issue to determine priorities promptly. - Stay Calm and Composed: Maintaining a calm demeanor and a methodical approach is essential for quality decision-making. - Communicate Transparently: Keeping the team and stakeholders informed with clear updates and expected timelines. - Leverage the Team’s Strengths: Trust the team, delegate tasks based on strengths, and promote collaboration for efficient issue resolution. - Have a Contingency Plan: Preparation with contingency plans saves valuable time and ensures readiness for common challenges. - Reflect and Learn: After resolving an issue, reflect on what went wrong to prevent future occurrences, fostering continuous improvement. I read The Lean Tech Manifesto. Even if I still not fully agree with Antoine and the PISCAR way of problem solving. An A is missing for the Act :-) this book is EXCELLENTISSIME. A MUST READ. Thank you very much Fabrice Bernhard and Benoit Charles-Lavauzelle for taking time to write this major book. At least as important as the agile manifesto.

"Making work visible" is the famous book known by majority of #Kanban practitioners. And here we are, just launched Teamhood Kanban 2.0 to redefine how much visual freedom project management software can bring. By saying "freedom", I mean that it is all about how well you can structure project data inside software based on your existing processes. How much non-textual cues can you use and yet deliver valuable information in order to reduce cognitive load. Do you have a negative reaction to the idea of defining tasks? If so, you’re not alone. This was helpful information for me! FWIW, when I talk about task intelligence, it’s not at a super granular level. At EPAM, we define work in small enough pieces to get sufficient information to find the right people to do it. That’s all. Anything beyond that is both unnecessary and likely detrimental. With anything skills and task related, the goal is to get just enough information to make better decisions. #skills #hr #peopleanalytics #skillsbasedorganization

Due to the dynamic of the market and new models being released almost every day, the strategy needs to be model agnostic. Enterprises need to be ready to adopt different models for different tasks with a big focus on two pillars: DATA 📊 : Easy access to high-quality data across various applications and sources is crucial. Having proper Information Architecture (IA) is essential to achieve proper AI. Good data is the backbone of any solution, whether AI-based or not.
