Asalam a lakum Engineers, I hope you are doing fantastic, look at the pictures, I hope you are familiar with #PEC Election 2024, look at them our emails, inbox, whatsapp flooded with unsolicited messages to vote for PEC, this is the most disappointing behavior by PEC to share our personal information to third party without our consent, and they are calling directly day night even I received their call at 11:17 pm 🌃, like seriously, what they are doing 🙄 My point is if either contestant has so much money for automated polls, Why can't they use it to benefit Engineers in a professional way❓ Best is to utilize it for Jobs of Engineers is not it❓ Engineers are striving for jobs, what are they people doing for us❓ Engineers have family to feed, but still many of us are stuck in kitchen Income isn't❓ why these people not spending their money on the Jobs of Engineers❓ The idea is Instead of running in the rat race of win or lose,they must do something together for the betterment of engineers. 💥 It is requested to #pakistanengineeringcouncil to have a look at this matter and stop sharing our personal data to scammers or thirdparty for their call campaigns, Thank you. It is a reality that the impact evaluation and sustainability of Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) projects in Pakistan is minimal to nonexistent. The primary reason for this issue lies in the appointment of Project Directors (PDs) who often lack both the necessary capability and commitment. Many PDs are selected based on personal connections rather than essential criteria such as professional competence, integrity, and moral standards. Addressing these concerns with a more rigorous, merit-based selection process is crucial to ensuring the success and accountability of PSDP initiatives.

Every one is done With pakistanis and their government ,Iran is reportedly planning to take Pakistan to court due to delays in the completion of a natural gas pipeline project, often referred to as the Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline. The project was originally signed in 2010 and intended to provide much-needed natural gas to Pakistan from Iran's South Pars gas field. However, the project has faced significant delays, primarily due to sanctions on Iran by the U.S. and other Western countries, which have impacted financing and international support. Iran claims that Pakistan has not upheld its part of the deal to complete its section of the pipeline and start receiving gas. Pakistan, on the other hand, cites international sanctions as the reason for not being able to move forward. Iran is now considering legal action, possibly through an international arbitration court, to seek compensation for the breach of contract. The case is complex, involving geopolitical, economic, and legal factors, including sanctions, energy needs, and regional politics.

Congratulations to new Chairman Pakistan Engineering Council. I have the feeling that PEC should focus more on quality and design of Public and private sectors projects. Establish SOP for government projects so they should be executed properly and completed in time. Project should not start if adequate funds are not available. Transfer of funds from one project to another on political basis must be strictly discouraged. PEC should step aside from indulging in Academic matters. Let Universities and HEC take care of this. This آدھا تیتر آدھا بڑیر must end. PEC should establish Watch Dog Committees for monitoring Public Sector Projects. These committees should comprise of engineers and experts from all fields. They will keep check on quality, allocation of funds and timely completion schedule. Hope for the best.
