IT Support Intern -> IT Support Executive Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Respond promptly to user inquiries and issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity, either in-person, over the phone, or via email. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software problems, including network issues and peripheral device malfunctions. System Maintenance: Regularly maintain and update computer systems, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest software patches, security updates, and configurations. User Assistance: Provide support for IT onboarding and training for new employees, ensuring they are familiar with company IT protocols and tools. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, technical procedures, and support incidents to facilitate continuity and knowledge sharing. Inventory Management: Track and manage IT inventory, including computers, laptops, printers, and other equipment. Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to company IT security policies and best practices, including monitoring systems for potential threats and assisting with implementing cyber security measures. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to improve overall system performance and user experience. Software Installation: Install, configure, and maintain software applications and ensure compatibility with existing systems. Backup and Recovery: Assist in maintaining data backup and recovery processes to protect organizational data integrity. Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are advantageous. Experience: Basic Knowledge of IT Networks/IT Support/Windows Installation.
