COMSATS University, Sahiwal Campus, hosted an event titled "A Roadmap to UI/UX and Acing a Job," organized by GDSC in collaboration with SDS and CSS. The guest speaker, Mr. Saad Shakeel, a senior UI/UX developer at Market Leader Inc. with over 8 years of experience, shared his insights on UI/UX design and career-building strategies. Over 50 students attended the session, covering essential UI/UX tools, visual design principles, and core design fundamentals like user-centered design, wireframes, and usability testing. Students were highly engaged and provided positive feedback, finding the session informative and helpful for their future careers. The event concluded with a Q&A session where Mr. Shakeel offered practical advice on portfolio building and job interview success. The collaboration between GDSC, SDS, and CSS made the event a valuable experience, motivating students to explore UI/UX career opportunities.
