This session, a crucial part of our project, “Localization of SDGs through Participatory Development Planning by Tehsil Local Governments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” focused on: ☑️ Deepening Understanding of SDGs: An overview of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their relevance at the tehsil level. ☑️ Fostering Participatory Planning: A step-by-step guide to formulating SDG-aligned Medium-Term Development Plans (MTDPs) through a participatory approach. ☑️ Introducing Powerful Tools: A hands-on introduction to tools and methodologies for effective MTDP formulation. Syed Farid Jan, the esteemed Chairman of TLG Drosh, addressed the participants. Mr. Karim Ullah, TMO Drosh, and members of the Planning Team actively engaged in the session, demonstrating their commitment to building a sustainable future for Drosh. She highlighted the significance of the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010 and its role in creating a safe and respectful work environment. Ms Maliha shared, “Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI) has already complied with the sexual harassment law.” They are now taking proactive steps to ensure that all employees have a deep understanding of the law and how to effectively use it to improve the work environment.
