𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗢𝗣𝟮𝟵: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 #Volunteers are the backbone of any event, conference, or organization. No event or activity can achieve success without their invaluable contributions. In any event, volunteers prioritize their responsibilities over personal participation, often sacrificing their own desires for the greater good. As an MS researcher, I am personally studying the role of youth volunteers. COP29 was my second COP conference. At COP28 UAE, there may have been volunteers, but I did not see any in action. However, the volunteers at COP29 Azerbaijan made history. It’s unlikely that such dedicated and exemplary volunteers have ever been present at any previous COP, nor that duties were carried out as flawlessly as they were here. Their demeanor was outstanding they wore smiles from morning till evening, were incredibly helpful, highly active, and carried out their tasks with remarkable professionalism. As a member of the BDRT, CERT, and a First Aid responder myself, I want to especially commend the First Aid volunteers at the event who provided timely and effective responses whenever needed. All the delegates who attended COP29 will agree that the role of the volunteers was extraordinary. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who fulfilled their duties at COP29. We are truly proud of you!
